First, this us a very old system and probably needs to be replaced if it really is an R12 system. The unit is probably at least 40 years or more old since they stopped producing R12 about 1970's. If your manitowac ice machine is usable still, it probably has lost its charge and will need to be refilled with a suitable refrigerant. I actually still have a jug of R12, but I generally charge systems with the only substitute still available R420 if you can find someone who still sells it. I saw that both refrigerant were being phased out and purchased a couple of jugs and only have a little left. My suggestion if you want this ice machine in operation again take it to an ice machine repairman and have him repair it. Good luck.

Depends on ambient temperature but in general yes. Plates may need cleaning or may have worn out. Don't know model and serial number of the inside head. You may want to look up your service manual here
and compare your pressures to the posted norms.

When a Manitowoc is turned on in clean mode, It stays in clean mode until it finishes (about 30 minutes). If you turn it off and then on again,it just keeps cleaning. Let it run in cleaning mode until it finishes then turn the witch to ice mode.

Sounds like your dough is a bit too dry. Most breadmakers have rubber feet, or even suction cups to stop them moving. I have Sourdough bread in the oven now, made traditionally. I started at 10:15 this morning!
