if you can tear apart look inside bottom screws look at motor if brushes did not just smoke and or check if does have power to motor when on be careful ...8-10 times most it died because of too much heat of the fuse link size of a asprin pill when it gets up to , thet call it a thermal fuse one over heated it blows and you throw away i dont i fix.SF139E-142 Degree Thermal Cutoff Fuse 110-250V Instant .look up google to see pic .electronics store sell them or online i would mention radio shack but all on line mow a days ..good luck >^.^<

I've tried all suggestions how to remove the strainer, nothing is working it's stuck in there. Tried to find a # to call CS and they are in Canada only. I can't get the strainer out.

Just fixed this problem!Take bottom off juicer. The 4th screw is an "odd" one...I drilled the center out and used a flat head.When you look up inside the juicer, you will see a silver lever arm. It touches the arm lock mechanism (so the juicer will only run when the arm is engaged).The lever arm should be behind the black lever arm part on the side. When I opened mine up, the silver level arm was on top of the black post thingy. I took a screwdriver and pushed it off the black post thingy, so it the very bottom of the silver lever is behind it. (I can no longer see the entire silver lever easily when it is in the correct position.)Totally fixed it.I think it bounced out of the correct spot when I juiced some hard veggies or when I moved it, it hit the counter pretty hard. Anyway, good luck....I am not a mechanic so sorry if the language is non-technical.:)

Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU! I turned my Welbilt JE200 upside down & it easily came apart. Also, for the tiny spaces, never underestimate the power of the 3 best cleaning tools: bamboo skewers, Q-tips & an old toothbrush.

I had the same problem. Mine completely stopped working after I put a small carrot in there. Can't find a customer service number for them. I did find an email for Antoinette Ramos. [email protected] She emailed me back and said they would send me a new Juicer. Almost 20 days later, I have not received it and I can't get a reply email from her at all. I suspect you have solved the problem by now, if not, this worked for me. First unscrew the white center screw. Then as you lift up on the metal basket you should see the black center screw lift slightly. while holding upward pressure on the basket, tap the black center screw down. the basket and cutting disk should pop free. hope this helps.

Push the reset button underneath - this worked with mine when the same happened to me; I only realised it was there after changing the fuse, which didn't fix it. I turned it over and found the button and voila!
