If the RED and GREEN lights are not on this indicates power is not getting to both sensors. There should be around 11vdc at the two wires going into the master sensor (red light). Yours might be different. If it's not there, test the voltage at the controller. Mine reads 11.4vdc but your voltage may be different for your model; mine is a 1S550/A.If the voltage is there disconnect the 2 wires from the controller (make sure you have the pair going to the sensor) and twist them together. Then go to the Master sensor (red light) and read the resistance across these same wires...should be around 0 ohms. If not there is an open in one of these wires. 2conductor telephone wire is a good replacement. Watch your polarities.The factory red + white is normally positive, the all white is negative.The slave sensor (green light) is connected in parallel with the master sensor.
Check on the control box - there will be turn switch to adjust the load sensor. Turn it slightly to any direction and try the door. If the problem worsen turn it in the opposite direction until the door function correctly. Remember load sensing is a safety mechanism to sense when something is in the way of an opening or closing door and will stop movement before injury or damage occur. It is however sometimes set to sensitive resulting in the door stopping for no apparent reason. It should be set to such a level that the door will stop when held back by hand.

Look at the corners of the doors that hold the aluminium frame together and if it is a modular door, tighten them up. If it is a solid door, adjustment can be made by shimming behind the bottom hinge with a piece of cardboard. This will move the bottom out and up.

Check the opening limit dial on the garage door opener unit. You can locate the dial that controls the opening limit on the opener unit and use a flat head screwdriver to turn the dial counter clockwise until the door stops about an inch and a half away from the stop bolt. If the above step does not work, check the limit switches on the garage door opener. Most garage door openers have limit switches that control how far the door opens and closes. Improperly adjusting these switches can cause the door to stop halfway. Consult your garage door opener's manual to learn how to adjust the limit switches.
