The problem is usually with Comcast connection. Pixelation and bad or freezing picure are caused by bad cable signal.

All you can do as user is replacing the coax cable from the wall box or splitter. If you use a Comcast receiver box, also replace the video cable from box to TV, and eventually test the box on a different video connection.

If that does not fix the problem you will need to contact Comcast, as the fault is usually with cable lines or box(when present), and definitively it is not caused by a fault on your TV.

Here contact page: Contact Comcast | Customer Service.

You would go into the menus to adjust the picture settings. Press the menu button repeatedly until you get the 'video' menu hilighted, then press the 'select' or enter or whatever button chooses, and then use the left and right arrows to adjust the settings, and the menu button to advance to the next selection.

The ProScan will accept input on input 90/91/92 using the connectors on the backside. You can use S-video[the little round black connector] or the composite video [yellow connector] for the video in and use the red / white pair for audio in.
90 selects S-video and audio 1 in
91 selects composite and audio 1 in
92 selects composite in 2 and audio 2 in
Connect these cords to the S-video or composite yellow output, and the Red-right White- left audio outputs on the DVD.
If you don't want to do this, get a RF modulator ~$15, and connect the yellow/red/white from the DVD output to the inputs on the modulator, and then connect the RF [cable] output of the modulator to the antenna input on the ProScan, and tune channel 3 or 4.

Your set could be losing the 5v to the system control chip, or the keys on the remote or front panel may be sticking. You could also have a power supply with diodes or capacitors that are dying.
If you don't know how to service this, don't even bother opening the cover.

No, you will need an ATSC tuner box that will receive digital signals from the antenna and convert them to channel 3 or 4, and put the video and audio out on RCA plugs - yellow, red, and white.

Try two different things 1) on some of these tv's you could try pressing 00 to see if it will put you in input mode or 2) with your remote you should be able to push the input or tv/video to go to the input selection . In both of the above make sure you push the tv button first then step 1 or 2 . Good luck
