My Polaroid DVD player - Model # PDM0822BD player

If the disc does not rotate it means there is something wrong with the power supplying the disc motor or the motor itself is defective. Try to rotate the disc motor manually, If its rotating freely then the problem is in the circuit that supplies the disc motor.

My player reads "bad disc" when i start it up with

It means that the laser head is no longer getting a good signal - the lens is dirty and you must clean it by using a cleaning disk : $10 at Walmart.
If the clean doesn't help then the dust has been baked on the lens - in that case you must replace the entire laser head. Find one in un its sold for parts, or discarded ones. If you can't find a replacement head then the un it is dead.

CAN I BUY ANOTHER REMOTE TO MY PORTABLE DVD PLAYER

You may be able to find a universal remote that will work for it. You will need to verify that it works for polaroid dvd player. Most universal remotes have supported devices listed on their website or on the back of the box.

It sais no disc when there is

Try cleaning the lens with a DVD Disc Cleaner or Methylated Spirit and a Q-tip, rub the lens slowly in a clockwise motion, leave to dry and put in a DVD, if it doesnt work try a CD but make sure they dont have any scratches or dust on them, if a CD works ( or not ) then your lens is knackered.

Dvd player movie never loads

The lens on the DVD player might be dirty. Try taking a q-tip and soak it in rubbing alcohol. Next, open the cover and look for the laser lens. This is usually a clear white plastic circle looking piece. Take the q-tip and  clean the top of the laser lens but don't rub to hard. Let it dry for 10 minutes and see if the DVD will play. If not, then your DVD player is broken and needs to be serviced.

Not sure if I'm posting a second time, forgive me if so.

it does sound like a hardware problem, is it under warranty? I'd have it checked and possibly get repaired for free.

My Polaroid 4011-TLXB Television will not turn on

Fault with the main power supply regulator board. Check and replace damaged component/s at its main power regulator [SMPS] section circuit. Contact any service technician. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here. Pull up older posts. http://electronicshelponline.blogspot.com/ It will be best to replace the power supply regulator board as card basis rather than making "Surgery" to it; which usually will make loss for both money and time. Even though you can make it right, it will cost around an amount equal to the cost of a new board; including the cost of (spare parts + service charge) More to say, most of the spare parts to it will be difficult to get from open electronic spare part market. This is true to most of the flat panel TV power supply boards; irrespective of its brand and screen size. Search the site by type in the brand name of your set, in its search bar at the right side column, and press enter. See it in Webview by mobile. Mobile View has no search box.

I have a ge universal cl5 remote need code for Polaroid HD LCD TV and DVD player combo tdac#02212 22" flat screen

Use code search on your GE URC to find something that works. You may need separate codes for TV and DVD player. If a search through all codes stored in the URC fails, try a different one.
