Recently, my Rockford amp started coming on and
You could always unscrew the screw that holds your fuses in place and screw it back in firmly and see if that works.
It is possible the fuses are arching though. You can try unhooking the amp from the battery and turning your gains down. Then remove the fuses. Replace the fuses with new ones and hook everything back up and see if the amp runs more efficiently.
Bad ground can cause the amp not to come on too.
I always strip off the paint from the chassis of the vehicle before putting in a ground wire. Paint is not a conductor.

Most electronic parts can be obtained from:
DigiKey.com
Mouser.com
Allied electronics (search for them in google)
Newark electronics (search for them in google)
Realize that SOME manufacturers hide the true part number with so called "house numbers" to mask their design.
Some numbers require educated knowledge to decipher. FOr instance, some transistors you might find might be marked as:
C4065 (Ficticious) this likely would be a 2SC4065... sometimes the 2S is left off...
Hint, when repairing damage, often you MUST use a current limiited power supply to avoid burning out new parts due to one bad one still in the unit.
Rockford T10001bd: Capacitor buzzing
If the top is split open, it has vented electrolyte. This is most commonly caused by more serious problems in an amp. Do the other adjacent caps show any signs of damage?
Is it blowing fuses? Connect a 20 amp fuse in-line with the B+ line of the amp. If it blows the fuse, the amp is drawing excessive current and most likely has more serious damage than the single vented cap.
Amp makes loud noise, why?
Make sure its a good ground. Make sure your audio cables running from your radio are not running on the same side as your power cables running to your amp. Sometime that can cause alot of noise in the lines
Wiring
The T10001 can drive a load lower than 4 ohms. Wire the coils of the individual speakers in series to make each speaker 8 ohms. Then wire all 3 speakers in parallel and connect them to the amp. This will give you a 2.6 ohm load.
When amp powers up it makes a buzzing noise-quite loud-
Probably a loose coil or bad ground in the amp itself. Contact www.audiotekx.com, ask for Jason, he can help you and is the best out there.
The problem you're having is extremely tricky to rectify, I had an amp with the same problem at it stumped multiple techs, some that had been in the business 35 years, yet Jason got it solved.
2 12 p3d212 2 ohm hooking up to a rockford
Hello a_brake11,
The P325.1 is relatively small to power a pair of P3's. You'll only get 325 watts RMS at 2 ohms (162.5 watts per sub). The P3's power range is from 100-500 watts, so they will work, but don't expect them to be really loud.
For best power, your subs should be wired with the voice coils in series and then the 2 subs paralleled to the amp resulting in a 2 ohm load.
Hope this helps.
I have a Rockford Fosgate 1500 BD amplifier and terminals for the power cable will not loosen or tighten how do I fix it
First off will the fastener turn ? If not try using a bit of wd-40 and letting it "soak" for a little while . Also be sure you are using a good proper sized Phillips screwdriver . If the fastener still won't turn try using a can of "computer duster " inverted so the liquid comes out , note this will be well below zero degrees , and freeze the screw head , then try turning . If the fastener is stripped and the ttol slips you will have to remove the amp cover and grip it with a pair of vise grips ,pliers or a flat blade screw driver .
