One Beep after Checking NVRAM...Update OK
The Computer generates 1 beep. to state that the computer has set itself up properly, without errors. Depending on the bios manufacturer. i.e Pheonix or AMI et,c.
As long as your system is running fine with no crashes or errors.
Then this seems perfectly normal.

I doubt there's anything you can do actually, short of finding an identical "condensator" [you meant capacitor, right?], and then soldering it onto the old one's contacts. Still, this is a doubtful "solution".
Finding a new Socket478-based Motherboard these days would be a fool's errand as well: they are nowhere to be found... Buying a new one - on the remote chance you managed to find one - is a questionable investment.
I suggest you look for used one's, in your local version of "craig's list" [newspaper or website with people selling used or new stuff] or Ebay.
