Does the standby light come on when you plug in the set? Are you handy with a multimeter?

Go to source select tuner antena/cable select search chanels.

On most late model Sansui tv's you can go to the setup menu and go down to reset and press enter to restore factory color settings.
Go to the picture menu to make your own adjustments. Set the picture preference to memory first, then go to picture settings.
