As far as I know Solidex is out of business and since most of there parts are not standard to the other major manufacturers you sould either buy a new tripod or search for the same (exact same) model on ebay or craigs list to find the same model and use it for parts.

It sounds as if the film is not correctly attached to the take up spool. When you wind on, does the rewind crank turn ?

Have you looked in the manual for instructions ? Usually, the computer will see the frame as an external drive.

You will not be able to do this - the software in the frame does not permit this action. You will have to use the original images.

What manufacturer and model camera is it, please?

Reasonably simple - the camera goes on top, the three legs are extended to whatever height you require, and the feet placed on the ground.
