you will have to connect elio to your pc open your my computer program and you should see elio conected to your pc as removable storage device H THEN click on device then propeties you should then be able to open diolog with your pc by changing the pathways of your files manualy as i have to because the soft ware provided with the elio will not work on my pc

use the windows vista "use an older program with this version of windows"
start>control panel>programs>use an older program...
manually select the autorun and change the settings to XP
This will allow you to load the program
however after having done this I now have the problem that it cant find the primary library so the program requests termination

i had that problem after i upgraded the firmware. something went wrong. i just did it again, and after that everything worked fine.

Sorry it wasn't the Elio Jukebox with 20 GB, it was the Elio Jukebox with 4 GB.
And yes it's solved. I copied the files from a second Elio on it. Not the files from the CD!!! You must copy the files from a working unit. It works with mine. If you need the files - I can mail it to you. I am from Germany but after you copied the files you can change the language from German to English on the player menue.

I spoke directly to Tatung UK on 01952 280341 and got a docking cradle for £12.93 including P&P and VAT.

Hi.The back can be taken out (my elio crashed into the ground)and it opened itself.It has no screw, just a fittet back with a kind of glue.
