please check if you fit the paper and ribbon at correct place (under the crome plate and between the printheard and white roller.

there is a possibility that you need to just the print head assembly, if when its at close position, the print head is far from the sensor. With the print head is open, you will see 3 screw on the left, louse them and adjust all the print head mechanism, up and down some milliliters tie the screws again, close the printhead , try again and see if errors desapeer

make sure you have no network traffic for your printer and decrease the printing speed, and make sure you are using a free port not a used and default port for the service..

i hadthe same issue with all my zm400's, but not my zm4 plus's. zebra gives you the run around when contact their technical support. I tried every setting there was, ended up get rid of the zm400's, they are a piece of C#@P

check the sensor under the paper, reload labels roll, labels are possible on top of sensor black plastic and not between. move gap sensor to midle of label with. check manual to know how to fit the labels thought the sensors and printhead.

Printing from an Internet Browser can cause this result if you have not set the margins, footers, and headers. File ' Page Setup Change all margins to 0.01 (or as close as possible, it may override you) and all SIX bars below that to Blank or Empty.

Wow Dude, Im telling you Ive made chances of Thermal print heads for Kodad, Mitsubishi, and Agfa Printers... And Im warning you, theres no easy way to do so. It is Not user serviceable... Youve a Minimum of 40 screws to pull out. Lots of plastic pieces... and a lot more of "extra-pieces-that-I-dont-know-where-they-came-from" once you finish and close it up. The main Idea is for you to call the official service to do so. But, if yourre handy im telling you. Start unscrewing disassemble everything very carefully, and youll end up taking it out easily. GL

Hi Do not use a tool you may damage the printhead which will cost ofver 300 pounds to replace. First get what you can off with your fingers, then use IPA swabs or cotton cloth soaked with white spirit to gently and patiently remove the remains of the label and any adhesive residue. Perhaps your darkness is set too low, or your labels are not coated to accept thermal transfer printing. Let me know if this helps!

Try taking the printer off pause. It should clear the error.

It's possible the labels are not loaded correctly and are missing the label sensor. Be sure the labels are loaded all the way to the left, if you are looking at the front of the printer.

Print configuration from both printers and compare. Print config- Hold cancel button 10 sec. while power on. Check Resolution parameter. 203dpi=8MM Full , 300dpi=12MM Full. Sounds like perhaps they are different dpi.

Already try reset the printer to factory defult? ( turn off, press pause and cancel button at the same time and turn on, wait 5 secounds and relese the buttons.

Not sure what coud cause this. Have any kind of windows updates possibly been allowed that has interferred with the printer protocol?

Not sure if it would help, but you might try a self test on the printers, just to insure they're ok. If that goes well, I would think there's some kind of a software conflict going on in the computers.
