You might have changed the type of paper or You have to reseat the paper roll make sure it fits correctly into the printer

check whether the cartridge is rolling coz you might have not placed it correctly

You have a bad ribbon, I would get a new one and clean the roller

On the P900 printer, this blinking light always means "service". The P900's are notorious for software issues after they have aged. Every time we encounter this issue (very common), the only solution is to send it in for repair (usually ~$75).

This is an internal problem that can only be repaired by a Verifone service center or company with verifone service experiance.

There are 4 DIP switches located underneath the paper holder (bottom).

SWITCH1: ON => Even parity, OFF => Odd parity.
SWITCH2: ON => 8bit word (no parity), OFF => 7bit word.
SWITCH3-SWITCH4: ON-ON => 1200baud,
ON-OFF => 2400baud,
OFF-ON => 4800baud,
OFF-OFF => 9600baud.

Go to the Verifone website, look up your printer, and you should find what you need in your Support section.

NOTE: The inside cover of the printer has medialoading instructions for vendors.

1. Open the lid of the printer by pressing in on the two (2) Blue buttons on both sides of the printer, and lift upward.
2. Press down on the Green Printhead Latch, and raise the Printhead Carrier assembly to a vertical and locked position.
3. Remove the Ink Ribbons (Supply and Take-up Hubs/Spindles) from the Printhead Carrier by pushing in, and lifting up.
4. Slide both ribbons off the hubs, and discard them into the trash.
5. Slide an empty core onto the take-up hub. (The attached new roll of ribbon includes a new supply hub.)
6. Unroll a 1-foot length of ribbon. (The foiled side will need to be facing the Printhead and rollers.)
7. Insert the supply hub/ribbon into the rear spring-loaded spindle.
8. Starting from the back of the Printhead Carrier, thread the take-up hub/core in between the black guide bar and the two (2) aluminum rollers.
9. Continue past the Printhead, and over the 3rd aluminum roller.
10. Insert the take-up hub into the spring-loaded spindle 'star' hole.
11. Position the license paper (media) over the rubber roller to the edge of the opening with one hand.
12. With your other hand, lower the Printhead Carrier to its locked position.
13. Close the printer lid.

It all depends on the application. It would be best to contact your technical support service to have the prefix added to the programing parameters they are hosting for you. Then you can download the new parameters using your 9 prefix by editing the *ZP prarameter to include 9,18#########. To add the , press * ALPHA.
