Flip Video Ultra HD MP-4 files playing VERY choppy on my PC
Daniel is a little mistaken with his solution. The resolution of the video is much higher than the little video screen. Stuttering play back has nothing to do with resolution but FPS or Frames Per Second.
Since the video on the little screen is smooth the video should be smooth on your computer as well, just blurry if the resolution is low. However, I am having the same problem with mine and the picture is sharp on my 1080p laptop screen but only appears to stutter instead of playing smoothly.
The camera has dedicated hardware playing it back. This is also the same hardware that is encoding it while recording. My guess would be that the hardware encoding is using a faulty codec that is not playing back well.

Problem turning on
I have had that problem a few times, it started after i did a firmware update, so i just undid all the screws holding the back on,(including the 2 under the cf card slot's cover) and unplugged the battery for 10 seconds and plugged it back in and it worked fine.

RCA Lyra RD2780A Button
You can buy a non-working RD2780 media player in Ebay and use the needed parts.
There is not place to buy such buttons alone.
Best regards,

How do I add music files to my Thomson Lyra jukebox PDP2860
The best way would be to use the software that comes with the Lyra but if you dont have/use it then you simply drag and drop the files as you do with the films.
The difference being that you must manually 'Profile Contents' which is in the 'Audio' menu, if you use the drag and drop method whereas the software does this automatically.
Your files will magically appear when you have done this.

Neeed help
Try a format,
Over a period of time your info can get corrupt from transering music back and forth.
To format plug it in to usb.
Go to my computer
It shows up as a removably disc, usually drive f:
Right click on drive f: (or the approriate drive) and click format.
Let me know what happens, you will have reload the player, also try bypassing the software you are using to tranfer, by opening up drive f: and clicking and dragging your music into it , or you can copy and paste it into drive f:

Copyright Problem
i dont think there is any way to stop that, the publisher makes the dvds with an anti-copy thing for this device, i dont know of any way to combat it, but if you have a laptop, you could open the DVD's folders, and take the DVD files themselves, and copy and paste them onto your computer
