JXp720- why does the amplifier
There are many reasons why.
1. The power cable might be to small. I mean Gauge wise. (thickness)
2. Your GND (ground) might not be properly contacting to the chassis. The terminal should be secured to a free of paint clean metal surface (chassis) and tightly.
3. The amplifier might be driving a load that is not compatible with its specifications. Some amplifiers will play below their recommended OHM loads but tend to cut out when pushed, while others, will plain get damaged. Always use your amp within its parameters.
3(b) It is the way the sub woofer is connected to the amplifier that determines the OHM load that the amplifier will play. Check that your sub woofer connection to the amplifier is correct.
4 The amplifiers installed location may be preventing the required air circulation, which in turn results in overheating of the amplifier, causing the protection system of the amplifier to kick in and protect itself. (more volume requires more power which generates heat and if there is no cooling mechanism in place, make a very unhappy amplifier and unpleased owner)
5 There is always the chance that the amplifier itself might be faulty.
There are more but these are the basics.
Good luck

How do I access hidden menu or bypass brake dvd warning on Jensen VX7021?
http://www.uneeksupply.com/Jensen-VX7021-Radio-Parking-Brake-Bypass-to-watch-video-in-motion-_p_41815.html
this is what you need to bypass the sfety feature. Note this is for off road or show purposes only. Having video playing within view of the driver is ******* in moststates and is dangerous.
Recommendations for replacement 6 inch speakers with the Jensen AWM 968? They are for my rv, and are the only speakers in it. Thanks in advance for any help!
In-car entertainment systems, especially the types chosen for camper vans, etc., are often capable of quite high power outputs and usually need speakers capable of being driven at those high power outputs without damage.
The trouble is, such speakers usually don't sound so good at the very low volume settings needed for evening and late night use in a campsite environment to avoid annoyance to neighbours.
It is a big problem choosing speakers that sound good at low volume and yet can withstand the higher volume needed to overcome the wind and road noise of driving. There have been many technological advances in speaker design and a hi-fi specialist will undoubtedly be able to make suitable recommendations that are resistant to damp conditions, long-lasting and with cones free enough for good reproduction at ultra low volumes but robust enough to withstand high power outputs and such drive units are likely to be fairly expensive.
For myself I would choose to use a dual speaker system with a multi-speaker system comprising several low-powered speakers strategically placed for low volume use and a fairly standard high-powered system for normal use and a selector switch.
My jensen stero quit working
The most common cause when this has happened to me is a short in one of the speaker wires. "Quit working" means it turns on but no sound?
