Wow I know its been a while but I can tell you how to change the clock on your radio. It can be done while the radio in on or off. To simplify this please turn radio off. The incorrect time should be displayed. There is a button that is the display (disp) located in the middle right of the face.( If for some reason the time is not displayed, press the disp button once or as many times needed until the time is displayed. Now let it go and continue from there.) Press and Hold this button down until the time begins to blink. Once it begins to blink let go of the disp button. Now the next button you are going to use is the 'skip' button (>>I) for the hr only and the (I<<) button for the min. You cannot go backwards only forward. You must observe the correct time of day or am/pm. The >>I and the I<< are far right and vertical to each other. Because one is for hr and the other is for min you can not go backwards only forwards. So hold down the hr button until it is the right am or pm and the right hr. The min is simpler since you don't have to worry about am or pm, just depress the button once it reaches the right mins in the hr. Hope this helps

I am no way affiliated, but I get my car audio from Crutchfield and they have a HUGE range of adapters that come gratis with car audio purchase. However, you can get these adapters separately as I did when installing my wife's car audio. www.crutchfield.com.

Mine was doing the same thing for a while. I put in one of those special CDs that have little tiny brushes on them that are used to clean the laser. And after that it worked. It still does it every once in a while, but not very often. It seems to like mp3 discs more than regular CDs. But be sure to DISABLE MULTISESION when you burn your mp3s. Otherwise it will DEFINATELY give you the error 2 message.

Hey Guys ,
I was wondering if the solution given over here helped you. I am also having the same issue and my display is somewhat gone. It sometimes comes up on tapping the screen which makes me feel that the solution proposed over here could be of help.

You use the satellite tuner to change stations, not the head unit.

The reason why your faceplate keeps on falling out for your car stereo is because that part needs to be replaced.

You need to unhook the speakers and try the power again. When the protection light comes on it either means that the speakers have to low of a resistance or are shorted or there is another issue with the power, We need to be sure it is not the speakers. If the light goes out, power it off and hook up ONE and try again then keep going till you find the bad one. You did not say what amp it is so that is all we can provide

Possibly a supply voltage is missing. Maybe the power switch is faulty, usually a MosFet switch on newer models.
