Want to download user manual
Please go to Nikonusa dot COM. The camera is old. If you registered it you should be able to get the user manual. If not register it. When you have it registered you should be able to download the PDF. I also will say download as much as you can when it is new. You may see it has new firmware too.
Nikon d4 repair manual
I used to have some Nikon repair manuals, but lost them after a serious computer crash. But not only buy the manual, check what tools you need before you buy the manual. The special tools kept me from opening any camera or lens.
Hello Sir ! Can i use Sigma 70-210mm on nikon D5000 in AF mode?
The Sigma 70-210 f 1:4,5 is an old model, most likely only to be used in manuals focus mode on your Nikon D5x00 camera.
It also needs to be a Nikon version.
Only the Nikon camera's with the LCD screens on top to the right, like D80, D90, D7x00, D300 and above have a focus motor build in, so old AF lenses can be used in AF modes.
Why won't my nikon cookpix p520 turn on, it's dead
1. Did you hold down the HOLD switch for several seconds? (On top, next to Shutter)
2. Have you inserted a different battery
3. Is the camera really not starting, or is it instead the display is black.
4. Have you tried inserting a different SD memory card. Many of the SD cards now will cause some cameras to freeze, either because they are too high capacity (older cameras) or SDHC (older cameras) or not formatted properly, and other reasons.
Hold down the HOLD Switch
Use a different battery
Use a different SD card.
See if flash works and it is not just a black display.
My nikon sb200 not firing, have a red "go" light but when i hit shutter the internal flash goes off instead of the sb200
I would first: Check the test button on the flash - if all is good (and light flashes when button pushed), then
second: switch camera AND flash to manual mode and with flash attached, hit shutter release. flash should pop.
if all is good, I would use manual settings to set exposure for room I am in (yes, indoors) - and then flash again. Flash should go off on attached strobe (not internal flash).
If yes - then I would move camera to an auto mode and repeat. If not - then I would check settings to find out whether I have turned off hot shoe or hot shoe is otherwise blocked from completing electrical circuit. If the camera is relatively new, consider re setting to factory settings.
