Televsion has black screen with a thin colored line thru the middle you can see movement on the line . its like the screen shrank down to just this little strip

This is exactly what has happened. the vertical deflection section has failed. It could be a myriad of different things and if you are not technically minded and have an oscilloscope then all you can really check is the integrity of the soldered joints on the circuit board. Who knows you might get lucky! Good luck

Connecting dvd player to zenith sy2551s system and doesn't work

Yes, You need to be on AUX ,you can get to that setting by pressing channel 01 then press the channels down button instead of going to channel zero it will start to cycle through your AUX's inputs on the back of the tv.Also, another way to do this is on the original remote there will be a SOURCE button or INPUT button that can also cycle your TV through the aux inputs.REMEMBER.Make sure your DVD player is turned on and hooked up or else the AUX screen will be black.Rate me when you fix it!GOOD LUCK

Manufactured January 1997 - Blurry white letters

Your TV is nearly 10 years old. Over a period of time, the Picture tube has become weak! (Technically, the Electron Emmissions from the Electron Heater Element has become reduced) Permanent solution is to replace it, but the cost will be prohibitive. Best is to get a new TV. Otherwise, take it into a Technician Shop, who will recondition it for a modest fee.

My zenith CD/DVD duplicator LCD light on but no ready

If the LCD light on your Zenith CD/DVD duplicator is on but it is not showing as "ready," it is possible that there is an issue with the duplicator's internal components or settings. Here are a few troubleshooting steps you can take to try and resolve the issue: Check the disc trays: Make sure that all of the disc trays are closed properly and that there are no discs stuck inside the duplicator. If a tray is open or a disc is stuck, the duplicator will not be able to operate properly. Check the power source: Make sure that the duplicator is plugged into a working power source and that the power cable is securely connected to the duplicator. If the power source is not providing enough power, the duplicator may not be able to operate. Check the settings: Check the duplicator's settings to ensure that it is set up correctly for the type of disc you are trying to duplicate. For example, if you are trying to duplicate a DVD, make sure that the duplicator is set to duplicate DVDs and not CDs. Reset the duplicator: Try resetting the duplicator by unplugging it from the power source for a few minutes, then plugging it back in and turning it on. This can sometimes resolve minor issues with the duplicator's internal components. If none of these steps resolve the issue, it is possible that there is a more serious issue with the duplicator's hardware or software. In this case, it may be best to contact Zenith customer support or a professional technician for further assistance.
