Something in the power supply sounds like it popped. Like a capacitor? These sets the whole board is made to replace. But theres alot of techs who fix these boards and charge alot of money, but in the long run unless its a common problem it dosent pay for the board to be fixed. An example is a tech will charge 65 an hour for labor. It take almost two hours to fix board and 2 weeks to get parts. Pickup and delivery is 75 bucks. service call is 50 bucks. The whole rebuilt board is 140 bucks. + inhome labor at 50 bucks and no long wait to get set back. And the entire board has a 90 day warrantte not just what the tech fixed. Good Luck

This sounds like an open horizontal output transistor. If that is the case the HOT and flyback should be replaced. This is specialized work and probably should be left to a professional.

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news bud, but thats the beginning of the end for your picture tube. The tube is what the industry calls a soft picture tube. On a set like this it wouldnt be feasable to replace unless you get a good deal and or you realy like the set.
My zenith CD/DVD duplicator LCD light on but no ready
If the LCD light on your Zenith CD/DVD duplicator is on but it is not showing as "ready," it is possible that there is an issue with the duplicator's internal components or settings. Here are a few troubleshooting steps you can take to try and resolve the issue:
Check the disc trays: Make sure that all of the disc trays are closed properly and that there are no discs stuck inside the duplicator. If a tray is open or a disc is stuck, the duplicator will not be able to operate properly.
Check the power source: Make sure that the duplicator is plugged into a working power source and that the power cable is securely connected to the duplicator. If the power source is not providing enough power, the duplicator may not be able to operate.
Check the settings: Check the duplicator's settings to ensure that it is set up correctly for the type of disc you are trying to duplicate. For example, if you are trying to duplicate a DVD, make sure that the duplicator is set to duplicate DVDs and not CDs.
Reset the duplicator: Try resetting the duplicator by unplugging it from the power source for a few minutes, then plugging it back in and turning it on. This can sometimes resolve minor issues with the duplicator's internal components.
If none of these steps resolve the issue, it is possible that there is a more serious issue with the duplicator's hardware or software. In this case, it may be best to contact Zenith customer support or a professional technician for further assistance.
