What is linen?
What is Linen? - Linen is nothing but a natural fabric that is extracted from flax plants. The finest linen comes from the flax fields of Europe due to the rich soil and optimal temperature. Linen fabrics are more absorbent and heavier than cotton. They are also about 30% stronger and are quite durable. The material may feel crisp at first, but with time and use, they turn soft and subtle to the touch. If you are searching for a more breathable option than cotton for the summer, look no further than a linen shirt!

I have a Tempus Fugit grandfather clock - it is chain driven. How can I stop the chimes at night only without stopping the time.
Tempus Fugit isn't a brand but is a little bit of whimsy from a manufacturer who might have produced the clock from generic bought-in parts which is pretty much what folk have been doing all along.
The clock movement would be produced by one company or individual and it would be placed in a cabinet made by somebody else. Traditionally the face or dial would be another mass-produced item that would be engraved with the name of the supplying jeweller or clock maker.
Tempus Fugit or "Time Flies" would seem to be an alternative or an addition to the name of the retailer. Your clock movement might be good quality or not so good and you would need an experienced horologist to give an opinion. Some clock movements have a lever to stop the chimes for night-time. A quality movement would have a lever that will stop the chimes and the quarter hour striking and reduce the volume of the hour strike, unfortunately the lever is often out of sight and you need to move it blind - if there is a lever.
Alternatively a felt sock over the striker - if you can reach it...

What are some ways to repair your leaking toilet?
It depends on where it leaks. The wax ring that seals the toilet to the waste pipe could be old and dried out. The seal between the tank and the bowl could be old and dried out. The water supply line could be leaking.
If you want a stranger on the internet to offer you advice your question needs to be very specific. And you don't have a clue about toilets, best to call a plumber.
Sure this is fixable by a handy DIY person. But if that was you, then your question would have been more specific.

Toilet won't stop running
I have a Kohler toilet and Ingenium fill valve
85297-AA. My toilet kept running, the fill valve black cylinder
wouldn't pop up and when I added blue food coloring to the tank, the
blue color seeped through to the toilet bowl. First I replaced the
flapper and that allowed the fill valve piece on the cylinder to pop up
correctly and blue dye no longer seeped through to the bowl. I still heard a hissing sound when the toilet tank had
filled and no water was going into the overflow tube. I called the tech
support number on the Kohler website 1-800-4KOHLER (1-800-456-4537) .
Here's what solved the problem: Turn off the water to the toilet.Take
off the white cap of the fill valve by pushing it down and turning it
counterclockwise as you would open up a childproof pill container. Then
unhook the metal hook. Hold a cup upside down (I used a strong plastic
cup) over the part of the fill valve that is left in the tank and turn
on the water. (You need the cup because otherwise the water will squirt
up to the ceiling.) The water will flush out the fill valve. Replace
the cap and the hook and flush.
