321 stuck disc

Take cover off. Locate tray which houses the DVD. You must locate the planet gear (teeth 360 degrees) and turn that manually. It may resist if something is stuck (kid object). Find the UFO first and get it out of there. Then try to plug unit in and eject before prying or applying pressure to the gearing to drive the tray out. You may skip some teeth on the gear and the from that point on the DVD won't load or eject correctly anymore. There is a sensitive timing sequence there so if you skip a tooth, it will need to go the repair center. Take your time and examine everything and try to remove the UFO. Turn it upside down and shake, etc. Then continue to use the eject button. This is all you can do at home. If that fails find a repair center.

I have a 321 serie II and doesn,t work

Check the mains power switch on the back of the bass unit. Is it in the "on" position? Wiggle the plug of the mains lead, on the bass box side and make sure it is all the way put into the bass box. Still no signs of life.? Look for a replacement mains cord or measure if indeed AC current is present on the plug. Still no luck? Call Bose and have them check out your system.

Always listened to am in the car no problem ,but

More than likely, the AM circuitry within your radio is not functioning; damaged Integrated Circuits, Transistors, etc.. The FM band is usually decoded within a small metal box inside the unit called a FM Front End. For more information, please visit my website at audioserviceclinic.com. Thank you.

Do you hear static noise when you turn the radio on or is it complete silence? If static noise, is there an antenna on the radio and is it getting proper signal strength?

Have a Bose 3-2-1 Series

Here are 3 things to try and an if all else fails at the end.

1) Make sure the TV is set to the correct Video Input to see the video from DVDs on the Bose system.
• Make sure a DVD is in the disc tray.
• If the TV is connected to the media center using the HDMI cable:
Switch from one Video Input to another and then back to the original input.

2) Turn everything off, then:
Turn on the TV and set the TV Video Input for the Bose system video.
Turn on the Bose system and press DVD.

3) Turn off both the TV and the Bose system and then:
Unplug the HDMI cable from both ends.
Disconnect the power cables from both your TV and the Bose 321 system.
Re-connect power to the TV and to the Bose 321 system.
When the Bose 321 system startup message disappears from the display,
re-connect the HDMI cable to the TV then Bose 321 system.
Turn on the TV first, then turn on the Bose 321 system.

If all the above fail then disconnect the HDMI cable that connects the TV to the Bose 321 system and reconnect the two using a Component cable, an S-Video cable, or the Composite cable provided with the system.

My bose 321 system remote sometimes works then

If the fault started ONLY after the batteries were replaced, it is important that in the first place if the battery was leaked and oozed onto to the board.if so you need to open and clean the board. Also make sure that the contacts of the battery are clean, If not there is fault in the board, it will be good to remove, clean , heat off moisture and reset.

The right side cord once plugged into a speaker

From your description, it sounds like there is a break in the wire. If you can find where the break is by wiggling the cable, it can probably be repaired. Be sure to have the volume turned on low, however, so you don't damage the amplifier.

Many speaker systems use RCA style connectors (shown in the attachment). If it uses these, you can buy them at a local Radio Shack store (or online). You will also need some speaker wire (20 gage or 18 gage is best).

If you are able to do electronic soldering, you can make a replacement cord yourself. If not, and you know someone who can do it for you, it is an easy job.

That would be the most economical solution to fix your problem. If this doesn't work for you, you'll have to find out what kind of connectors are used on the cable and do an online search.

Good luck! marc_uhrey.jpg

Dvd stuck in media center how can I get it out

If the tray won't open then the safest way is to take the top off the media center and then the cover off the DVD player inside.

It's more than likely the tray belt has stretched. Take the old one off, measure it and get one a couple of mm smaller.

I have a bose 3-2-1 Series II audio system that

Hi,
If you can take it apart, have necessary tools and test instrument, check the board first for bad solder joints most especially on the power supply(where the two largest cap located) and the output IC circuitry(where the largest heat sink located), and in the pre-amplifier stage(where the volume control is connected). This is hard to spot, I would advice you to work in the brightest area or used table/portable lamp and magnifying glass to locate some cold/dry/crack joints.
Another factor is leaky/dried filter capacitor in the said section above. But high chance in the output IC section. If you don't have capacitor checker to determine the condition of each capacitor, replaced all cap in the output IC stage.
If you have a contact cleaner spray some of it to volume control. If not available, lighter fluid may also fine to isolate it from fault. After spraying turn the volume up and down for 1min to erase the build up dust or any foreign objects.. Wait 10-15 mins before you apply power to unit.
If you can't troubleshoot the symptom yourself, I would advice you to look for an experienced technician to isolate the problem.
Hope I helped you.
Have a nice day!
Thanks for using Fixya.

This solution is from the troubleshooting section of the manual:

• Follow these steps:
1. Turn off the unit.
2. Unplug the Acoustimass module power cord from the outlet for 60 seconds, then reconnect it. This
allows the unit to reset itself.
3. Before powering on, press and hold Eject on the media center.

The disc is stuck and the display reads "No disc".

Ok one easy fix to this is to tilt the player while the system is on whilst constantly pressing the eject button. I once had to even turn the whole thing upside down then back and shake a little until the disk positioned itself properly to eject. good luck
