THe clicking you are hearing is not the motor. It is the optics attempting to focus on the disc. In this case it is likely that either the lens itself is clouded/dirty or the optics have failed. If you can gain access to the assembly, try cleaning the lens using a cotton swab and alcohol. If that fails to resolve the problem, the optics will need to be replaced.

Hi, it is been caused by the mechanism inside that ejects cds. might need adjustment or replacement. check it out. If you can't call a repairer.

No parts avalible from Bose! Even if it was it would cost more then buying a new unit! Whats wrong with it anyhow?

check with radio shack to see if they have something that will plug into the rear jack of the Bose...and has leads that you can wire to your speakers

The fix for the problem is simply go to Radioshack and purchase their part number 278-267 which is an "F" jack to 1/8" Male Plug. The cost is $6.09. This should solve your problem. The 75-Ohm antenna plug can now be screwed or connected to the "F" connector.

Bose does not release their schematics or parts lists, effectively making themselves the only repair center for their products. Your only safe repair method is to contact the service/repair center at www.bose.com. They will likely offer you a flat rate repair or credit towards the purchase of a new unit.

I suggest that you replace the battery in your remote, and be sure to clean any corrosion buildup from the contacts inside the remote.

The CD player likely needs to be cleaned. You can pick up a very inexpensive cleaning disk at many stores, or check this one on eBay:

It will work as a manually-operated AUX input, but since there was no remote for the original system so that function won't be available.

something is wrong with the cd you have to find out what type of cds does it play

are you getting and static sound out of radio? and are you sure the unit isnt staying on c.d. and not switching to radio when disc is removed?

the motor or bel has gone, may even be the tray microswitch. you will have to take te top off and have a look, if you cant see anything then take it to a specialist!

the problem with your multicd changer lense.
Check all lense is fine.
Clean lensse with disk cleaner disk.
also check your disk are okay.
if it is warrenty change and replaced lense.

Just unplug your power supply for 3 hours to reset the unit and to dissipetate power surges.

it seems that your player are not recognizing the cd's that you are inserting or want to play.

one main reason for this is the lens problem.

if you already use a head cleaner to clean the lens and still not working i am sure that uor ens are already defective and need to replace.

Most high-end electronics companies don't let you buy internal parts from them unless you're from an authorized repair center. If you know how to fix it, find the part number (on the actual part that needs replacing- use a magnifying glass) and search for it online.
Also- I can't really think of many small electronic parts that are actually made in the US. No matter what company designed it. China owns that market.
