How to connect tablet to bose radio

This can be relatively easily achieved using a 3.5mm stereo plug to 2 x RCA plug lead, available from most electronics stores at modest cost, to connect the headphone socket of your tablet to the 'Aux In' connection on the wave radio.Be careful not to turn up the volume on the tablet too high or you will get audio sound

The multi disc player doesn't

The problem is in the laser pickup assembly, overtime the laser becomes weaker until it reaches a point it can not track the cd. One option is to purchase a disc cleaning kit to clean the laser lens, that might get it working again. If that fails! I recommend contacting Bose for service because they do not authorize anybody outside of their facility.

Will not accept and play a cd

HI...
It's most likely the draw belt that moves the drawer in/out.
Belt is cheap but opening the unit might not be.

Displays "not playable" when cd

-first check your cd format, if like cdrw or dvdr+ etc...check compatibility with your player. If this does not solve check cd for damage and also have the lense cleaned by an appropriate cd cleaner. If that does not solve the problem then you will probably need a new one unless labour is cheap in your location.

Radio works fine. cd player wont read discs in either of four slots. Message - Disc error.

This can often be solved by opening the cover and blowing on the optical head to displace dust and any debris that is fouling between the optics and the actuator that controls the head position. It isn't fool proof but will fix perhaps 40% of units. Take a can of air duster (aerosol blower) and blow the little pick-up form the distance of about 1 inch. It will bounce around in the wind but don't blow to hard. Give it a gentle blast and then try the player. If it doesn't work then try again this time but blow harder.

Adding turntable to bose music wave system

Hiya, sad to say it wont work even with the correct plugs. If you really need/want to get it going, you will need a RIIA pre amp to use to convert the turntable levels to an acceptable level for the bose. Once you have that, then get the correct matching plugs for the bose (sames guys that supply the preamp should be able to help). Suggest a google search in your area "RIIA PREAMP" and see who supplys.

Best of luck

If not, that's your Bose out the window! The lense sounds like it needs a clean, you can buy these in disc for with tiny brushes on. Made by BIB and Allsop amongst many brands

Connected to turn table. having sound problem. At

The bose as most all in one systems do not have an inbuilt phono stage. Phono especially MM type have a very low signal and an eq curve that gets altered in the phono stage. Without a phono stage (known as a phon pre amp) you will not get much fun from your turntable. To connect : turntable out - into phono preamp - phono pre amp out into bose line in/aux in

CD mecanismo will not regect.

I suggest try to reset your unit... unpluging everything (including unplugging the changer from the radio and the changer from the wall), waiting 30 minutes or more, and then plugging it back together. If this did not help then, unfortunately, the only solution is to take the Bose apart and that's a scary proposition. If you flip it over, you'll notice little plastic "dimples" You'll have to pop each of these which will take the faceplate off.

Once the face plate is off, you'll have to take the Bose cover from the CD Tray off. There'll be the familiar little pinhole under the tray that you can stick a paper clip in and the tray will come back to its position or just put a little pressure on it.OR else.

When the cover is out the mechanisim will be visible. Look for the offending CD. You may have to plug in and cycle the machine. Be careful--no shocks please. Work it. Help it move. The shield may interfere so attend to that. Carefully remove the CD. It WILL be difficult. Clearances are close. Repeat to remove any other CD's.

Carefully see what the door is caught on, or remove whatever debris might be there (hair, dust, etc) use q-tips and toothpicks. It will remove all your disc.

It will fix your problem or else there is broken spinning motor, and your system may need to be service.can be done in any electronics repair shop, contact BoseĀ® Technical Support, or call 1-800-278-1281

Hope it helps.
