I suspect that it could be something to do with the remote sensor in the unit. Possibly the IC that deals with the functions of the remote control itself. It could have a fault on it, or it could be the power to it. Something like a power feed storage device that serves the IC. It could be thermal related, it needs heat to keep it working! When you switch it off the power that should all the time be present leaks away. Could it have an internal battery even, like those found in computers, that has gone?

TRY MAPLINS OR A ELECTRICAL STORE OR EVEN A DISCO SHOP WILL STORE THESE FUSES.
TAKE THE OLD ONE WITH YOU AS THEY WILL NEED TO KNOW IF IT IS FAST BLOW CAP ON EACH END WITH A SINGLE WIRE INSIDE OR NOT (IS THERE A SPRING AT ONE END INSIDE THE GLASS TUBE THIS IS CALLED A SLOW BLOW FUSE).OR IS IT IN A CERAMIC WITH A METAL CAP ON EACH END.

You (we) still don't know if the speaker or electronics are at fault. Swap the speakers left-to-right. Use test tones to test all channels. Could be a loose speaker wire, too.

Do you mean it blew them again or that it didn't work and the fuse is still intact?
If it blew it again the problem is not the fuses. Instead what you have is a semi-conductor device that has developed a short and that is blowing the fuse. Check any devices in the power supply section, look for signs of damage or heat and also any devices on the heat-sink.

If the fuse did not go and it still doesn't work check the power supply only or the on-off switch.

To what? Every device comes with a manual and (usually) the required cables.

It is not so easy to probe into to find a protection fault condition. The fault can be your output drivers- the MOSFETS/IC's fitted for both the channels, Use a meter after disconnecting to check for short in the drivers. Disconnect the positive and negative voltages to the output and see if the protect changes. Even a fault in the preamp stages that drives in high current into the output can shut the Amplifier. Sometimes this can be a noise like a HUM or HISS before the protect works. Faulty capacitors in these circuits also can cause similar issues and needs close observation.
You need to confirm and replace the specific stages or outputs. If not there can be issues in the mother board, maybe the protect circuit by itself is shutting off due to a faulty bias , maybe a leak in any voltage/current sensing circuit. Also disconnect the speakers and test, if the protect is off then check for short on the speakers.

Hi, the Panasonic t.v. more than likely has more than one kind of output. One of them should be actually lit up with a red glow around the edges, that is the fiber optic digital sound output. It's called a" TOSLINK" connector and is plugged into a matching jack on the surround sounds rear panel. The t.v. may also have a "LINE OUT", " T.V. AUDIO OUT " or " FIXED AUDIO " output this may be in the form of a small 3.5mm stereo headphone jack ( i still call them 1/8 in. plugs) this you can plug into the surround sounds line input on the back panel.
