If you mean the CPLDC2541S (Porter Cable air compressor), you need to fill it with an air compressor oil. The recommended weight is SAE-30 (API GC/CD heavy duty motor oil). No they are two different types of battery on the inside but the electric charge they put out is the same.

A 1 year old router...that suddenly stops working. My suspicions would be brushes first then the switch.

There are 3 different types of this router Type 1, 2, and 3.

The porter cable belt sanders have an adjustment knob (threaded screw with a black plastic t-nut on the end). The knob adjusts the angle of one of the rollers and thus the tracking of the belt. The know takes very little adjustment to change the belt's tracking.

Is the know perhaps missing? You can get replacement parts for for porter cable tools at www.servicenet.com.

You should have gotten all that when you purchased that equipment. If I were you I would go back and demand that paperwork, just because it is a floor model (demonstrator) you should still be able to get those papers. The problem is there are 3 wheel kits for generators. The compact kit has the wheels mount on the inside of the frame while the regular and premium wheel kits have the wheels mounted ouside the frame. I need to know which wheel kit you have. PN of the kit.

It hnk i have the same gun. i have know idia where you found the modal # mine is an 18 volt nica battery and iv'e had it for a year and the 7 inch saw i also use them for work and like them and had no problems. But i found the manual that came with it just no modal or serial # eighter for that matter. I says there is a 1 year free serivice for worn parts under normal use. that would deturmin. Then i started looking closer and found a 3 year warranty for faulty meterals or workmanship and thats also free. Give me a fax # and i'll send it to you or www.portercable.com and they have an # 888 848 5175 truthfuly the manual is not vary helpfuf dosn't cover much but if you need the warranty in wrighting i can send it to you

right where it goes into the tank there is a oneway valve that is stuck or bad and needs replace

there should be a return spring on gov...some where u might be looking for just a loop where iy should hook

It sounds like it is running really hot. Did you check the air filter and oil level. If not these it could be the muffler.

This sounds like a heat transfer problem

You should check that the oil reservoir for the pump has oil in it. It sounds like it may be low. Also, if it is a gas model, the engine oil may be low.

Remember the pump oil reservoir should be only 1/3 to 1/2 full of non-detergent oil.
