GTCO CalComp Drawing Board III 34480 Graphic Tablet Questions & Answers
Does the drawing board III use WinTab for arcGIS 10?
ALL ESRI ARC Programs as far as I am aware use the Standard GTCO Tablet Works drivers. All GTCOCalcomp digitizers are or were level 1 supported by ESRI and the standard tabletworks driver will work just fine (This only applies to Windows versions of ARC, not Unix or other OS's)
Drivers can be obtained from GTCOCalcomp or from this link at the Interworld Site:
http://www.interworldna.com/GTCO/gtco-drivers.php
If your digitizer has a serial interface use the SuperSet code 01 or 11. If you digitizer uses USB then no superset is active or needed (This only applies to GTCO or GTCOCalcomp Digitizers)
Calcomp or Summagraphics digitizers will need to be set to 9600,8,N,1 with High Resolution Biinary output to work with Tablet works. Hope this helps you

First conform that serial port is selected as NONE on digitizer manager while you running the lectra tablet utilities. If you try this already please check your cable connectivity any one of the line may be missing connection. It may work but you can't able to run lectra tablet utilities.
How do you uninstall tabletworks on an xp machine
Control Panel / System / Hardware / Device Manager / identify the tablet and double click on it / 1 - in General, at Device usage put it to disable and disconnect it / 2 - in Driver Uninstall it.

It may be a software switch is turned on and is causing this problem. Also check the driver and turn off any mapping.
When you read the manual it will show you how to turn off/on the software switches on the tablet.
These tablets should boot-up in the GTCO binary mode.

This tablet, when turned on,should only beep once.
It sounds like their may be a hardware problem or corrupt firmware.
Make sure you are using the correct power supply, these use a 12 volt power supply, center negative.
