Downloading an updated Firmware for Canon 5D Mark II

The current firmware is version 2.1.2. Use this link to get to the Canon download page. Scroll all the way down to “Drivers and Downloads”. Select “Firmware” and then the appropriate version for Windows or Mac.

My Canon digital rebel eos 300d will not download to my Mac computer and the lcd panel says Busy. Can you help?

The camera is trying to process information to or from the memory card. If the status does not change after a few minutes, you may have a damaged memory card. Turn the camera off. Remove the memory card and inspect it. Reinsert the memory card. Can you view photos on the LCD by pressing the arrow button? If so reconnect to your computer. If not, you most likely have a damaged memory card. Try inserting the memory card into a card reader connected directly to your computer. This may be able to still read the card when your camera cannot.

I have a canon 5d mark iii. the problem is that it does not open with the battery inside. it does not show me anything on the screen anymore.

I'm trying to import video to my Mac but it won't recognize camera. Using Canon Optura 40, firewire, Mac OS 10.14.4, Final Cut Pro X and Adobe Premiere Pro 2019. Optura is set to VCR mode and play.

Autofocus does not work after cleaning canon 55-250mm lens

If it focuses OK manually but doesn't on auto you may have a crack or broken ribbon cable in the lens.

I have attached the tamron sp 70-200mm f/2.8 di vc USD to a canon 6d mark ii and found that live view and video does not work

Does live view work with other lenses? if so you may just have a dirty or faulty connection re the Tamron 70-200.

I just got a Canon 6d Mark II but My Neewer Vision5TTL and vc 818tx will not work at HSS. The Camera even though will fire the flash at All Speeds I get Shutter Drop above 1/160

You need to check out the correct settings as the flash sync speed for you 6D ii is 1/180th which you should be able to use at 1/200th so only being able to get less than 1/160th would indicate incorrect setting in the external flash mode or a slight fault.

Make sure that the flash on the unit is working and that you aren't accidentally covering the flash on the camera with your fingers. Make sure there is good lighting for your pictures.

I cannot get my canon T6 to focus. Even the exposure bar in the viewfinder is out of focus. I know it's a setting, but I don't know which one because my instructor changed it

Hmmm... if the viewfinder exposure bar is also out of focus, I think the problem might be the manual focus for the viewfinder itself. Usually cameras have little thumbscrew somewhere near the viewfinder. It's there to accommodate differences in some peoples vision (do they have their glasses on or not ?). Yup... that's my bet.
