Why does camera close down when I plug USB cable to pc have replaced cable & batteries
As soon as you connect a camera to a computer, the camera shuts down, because it only can act as a "dumb" memory stick.
Only more advanced camera's and special programs allow the camera to be connected and be monitored on a computer.

Did you check your volume settings to make sure your sound is enabled and the volume is adequate? I've found that certain applications turn down selected sound levels or mute them altogether and I have to go into the volume control and unmute it or turn it up.
How do I change the Camera language to English?
try this - press menu button ( black button 2nd from top) - then press right & left arrows to change to next field, keep going untill you reach language - then use up & down arrows to choose language that you want - then to choose press ok.
