Canon EOS 60D Digital Camera - Page 2 Questions & Answers
Canon 60d flash won't pop up
Not even when you put the camera to one of the creative zone modes?
Just a part of page 129 of the manual says this:
Why is sports mode not working?
If you are trying to take photos in very dim light the sports mode may not work. Sports mode selects a fast shutter speed to freeze the action and in very dim light with some lenses the aperture may not open wide enough to allow enough light to hit the sensor.
Canon camera help
- everytime you backed up your data / photos just have your memory card re-format and observe if this would still be an issue .
Why are my photos out of focus??
Check your settings - try taking sots with the different focus settings and compare. If all photos show some identical signs, you need a fix on your camera. If, for one photo taken with the auto focus settings, look different, you need more practice with your camera.
Why is error 70 coming up on the camera
This might help:
- Camera might work normally when the shutter release is half pressed for 2 or 3 seconds.
- Switch on your camera in video mode and the go to your preferred setting.
Some have said go to the camera menu then the settings tab and locate sensor cleaning. Turn the automatic sensor cleaning to disable and when you want to clean the sensor do so manually.
My canon EOS 60D mounted flash is not going up
If you cannot GENTLY lift up on the flash as it tries to open to assist it then there is damage to the mechanisim inside or debris lodge in the release. You'll need to send it in for repair as forcing the flash open can damage it.
How to add date stamp to pictures
Trust me, turn off the date stamp. You don't want it. It seems like a good idea at first, but it just ruins your shots - forever. You can always add it later in your photo manager software.
Canon 60d cannot turn on
when a camera won't power up, check a few things:
battery is charged. When the battery is in the charger, check if the charger acts like you are used to. The light should blink the same way and should go out, or start burning what the battery is charged.
Then check if the contacts on the battery and in the camera (battery holder) are clean and shiny. Eventually clean with a dry cloth or cotton swabs. Never use sharp tools. Then when the battery is in the camera again, listen and feel if the battery door locks correct.
The battery door or lid should engage a switch. That switch is there to stop all action, when the door is opened. Just to prevent memory damage, because the camera unexpectedly can lose power.
I hope it helps.
