You have to open MY Computer and manually open the drive letter associated with the camera. Highlight all the photo's. Right click on the highlighted items and select send to my documents.

Windows 98 ? If it is Win98 then you are out of luck nothing doing. It was around before USB so does not know about it. If it is Win98SE then you will need USB drivers for this. Do a google for Win 98 drivers see what you get.

If I remember correctly those have a thin one ring type belt that powers the reel. You might check to see if it's missing, broken or off the pulley.
