Hi nick, there could be a problem with the unit wiring or with the speakers connected to the unit. Firstly Have your unit independantely bench tested, if all is okay then you know the problem is with your spk wiring or with the speakers. If there are any speakers that you know that are not working, then isolate them and recheck the sound. if the unit is found to be faulty then best to hand it to a repair technician. cheers.

Look up wiring harness and write down what wire is what and which way it plugs in. That will tell you what pin is what

Hi Lindeni, switch off the entire system, remove the power feed from the electricity, let the amp stand for about 10mins or so. Then remove all the speaker wires from the back and all the rca/hdmi connectors from the input sockets etc. reconnect the power wire to electrcity and switch on the amp. If the amp clicks on and goes back in to shutdown/protection mode, the there is an internal circuit problem. you will then need to take it in for repairs. If the amp screen stays on etc, then you mite have a wiring OR a speaker problem with one or two of your speakers. Best to get all the speakers and cables independantly checked before carrying out this testing. cheers.

If it's a car stereo yellow wires not connected to constant 12v

it appears to be a slide switch having been operated with a screw driver. The PCB has some damage, but if it is just a single sided board it can probably be fixed. The first thing is finding a switch. I am guessing a PC Mount DPDT slide switch. You can find those in a lot of places. But they come in different physical sizes so you would have to apply the measurements to your search. That one appears to have a metal case with 4 corner tabs. You may or may not need that. Aliexpress may be a good place to look as Digikey or Mouser may cost more in shipping. If the circuit is also torn up, you will need to carefully repair that. The holes need to be cleaned out first to allow mounting. If you don't know how to solder, you will have to learn and practice otherwise you may make it unrepairable.

Fosgate are great amp the settings should be at low not full or high, if is bridgeable the sun's should be negative to positive the one neg- coming out of one sub and pos+ coming out the other one on the amp bridgeable channel.

Your question has already been solved by someone else. http://www.fixya.com/support/t501542-pioneer_fh_p95_dim_display Unfortunately there does not seem to be an LCD brightness adjust on that old really nice car stereo. So what it is is that the LCD screen uses (Electro Luminescence) technology which well fails after so long. (In fact your stereo is not engineered to last that long by any means. Check the link/thread I sent there may be a replacement part available but I highly doubt that is worth the cost/risk.
