Pioneer dvd avh-p5950 problem
the problem is with your laser pick up unit. Its a reading error. take it to a repair shop or go to ebay and look up repair tech city. They fixed mine and it worked well after that.

Blank face when unit is upright.
what you need is called a flex ribbon for the unit. Its a cable of flat wires that will be attached from the screen to the head unit.
you can find them on Ebay for like $60 or $70 but that will fix the problem with it. I had that same problem with my AVH-6500dvd and bought the flex ribbon and then I installed it myself but it was not a simple task to do. I would recomend taking it somewhere to get fixed.

Cant control bass or treble
when you bought this did you just get the in-dash unit or did it come with a brain unit as well .........if it was just the in-dash player you need to buy a brain unit to control bass & treble and other features for this unit when pioneer sold this the dash unit sold for$495.00 but the brain unit cost $599.00 it was a price grabber cause they wouldn't tell you it needs a brain unit (the actual full unit sold for $1200.00 brain/dash) yet it works with other pioneer in-dash units the person you bought from probably upgraded to the avhp-7500DVD and kept the brain unit from the one he sold you but good news its a few years old so i would checkout eBay for the brain unit
hope this answered your problem good luck

How to hookup an IPOD
If your car stero has a stereo audio input connector then you can plug a cable in the headphone on the IPod and the other end of the cable into the stereo audio input on the car stereo.
If you don't have an stereo input on the car stereo then you can buy a FM transmitter that is powered by the car's cigarette socket, connect the IPod to the transmitter, switch on the car radio and tune it to the FM station that matches the FM transmitter.
You can now listen to your IPod from the car radio.

Camry shudders and quivers when idle, sometimes dies.
Have you had your fuel filter changed? If it is clogged it will take more pressure to operate properly so when you give it gas and it runs better might be an indication it needs to be changed. If you are getting too much gas might be flooding and the computer needs to be checked. But when you said it runs better when you give it gas I would think fuel filter.

I need help for solve my problem
what steps have you gone through to test it are you just going of it installed in your car if so take it out and connect the red and yellow wire and put it to + on a battery and the black to - if it still dosnt come on does it make a clicking noise does the fan spin on the back
there are so many reasons as to why it dosnt work but you need to bench test it out of the car there is a fuse in the wiring it could be that the supressor is faulty you need a car battery if you get it working then the fault is in your car a blown fuse or something
let me know the exact problem once bench tested if the screen comes out or in but no lights or the unit is tottaly dead or what

REPLACED RIBBON
take a closer look at the ribbon connector. it sounds like a problem with connection that is why it is not responding. it could probably have thin film of protective cover on the contacts that you need to remove before installing it.
tnx 4 using fixya,
