The wire that conects the screen and the dvd player is cut i need a new wire where can i get one

You can get one from either pacparts.com or pioneerelectonics.com. The part number is CNP8806.

Why does my pioneer deh-14ub only play bass through the RCA jacks

You need to go into the menu and check what the crossover levels are set for, you will find that the speakers are set to only reproduce the higher levels and not the bass.

I have a AVH-P5700DVD and

In order to calibrate the AVH-P5700DVD you need to press and hold the Boost and the + button and then press the reset button with a pen. continue to hold the Boost and + until the screen opens back up and you can see the calibration screen. use the arrow nob on the right to select the menu item, and the A button to select your item.

Video ipod

you have to get an iPod cable that gives you RCA outputs. Just connect the RCA outputs from the iPod to the AUX inputs on the unit. I believe that should do it. Ebay sells the iPod cables, and most electronics stores should as well

How to install avh-p5700dvd with a toggle switch

if your looking to wire it through toogle switch instead of say ign. switch run the wire labeled 12 v. switched (i think usually yellow wire) through toggle and have toggle run off battery. (im taking it maybe you wanna do this so you can run player w/out having ign. switch on) remember that 12 v. constant (usually red) has to maintain power at all times to keep clock/memory on player.
