Hello foxrider_911,

Orange is for illumination and connects to the "dimmer" wire on your vehicle wiring. Yellow/Black is the mute lead and connects to your bluetooth or hardwired audio mute function. Blue/White (terminated with a quick disconnect) is the remote wire and provides a 12V positive turn-on signal for a power antenna or remote amplifier. Speaker wiring follows the industry standard color code:
White - left front +
White/Black left front -
Gray - right front +
Gray/Black - right front -
Green - left rear +
Green/Black left rear -
Violet - right rear +
Violet/Black - right rear -

If you do not have a copy of the installation/user manual, you can download a copy from Crutchfield. It will have the complete wiring diagram and color codes as well as operating instructions.

Hope this helps.

I just tried it after researching on other sites. Keep the ignition on and the power to the stereo off. Hold down the function button (on the lower left for the DEH-P47DH) for a few seconts and the arrows will let you adjust the time.

For your Jetta, you may need a different wiring harness.

You need to be able to trace the wiring from the two dins on the back of the Kenwood receiver, and une the wiring diagram for the 1996 Jetta.

Perform your cross reference here for the receiver wiring:

Here's the wiring for your Jetta:
http://www.modifiedlife.com/1996-volkswagen-jetta-car-radio-stereo-wiring-diagram/

From the jetta wiring, it looks like your Right Front speaker isn't connected.

Here's the wiring for your Delta 88:

Happy hunting!

most ram trucks came with a infinity system. the amps are in the front doors, mounted to the 6x9 speakers. and they power the tweeters in the columms, and also rear speakers if you have them. I had to replace the entire system.
