Just updated the Lexmark Pro901

Try to reseat the cartridges. Open the printer cover. Remove the cartridges and reinstall properly and securely in their slots. Also, make sure you are using genuine Lexmark cartridges. While the firmware update helps make your printer perform more reliably and efficiently, another function of the update is to prevent the printer from working with unauthorized third-party cartridges.

Yellow won't print

First try to replace the yellow toner cartridge. After that, try re-seating the cartridge (take out the cartridge and place it back in carefully making sure it is seated correctly). If this does not resolve the issue, clean the print heads and connections on the cartridge. This can be done by removing the cartridge and swabbing the connections with a Q-tip dipped in rubbing alcohol. Also, while the cartridge is removed, swab the connections to the cartridge that are inside the printer where the cartridge is seated.

Just got the printer. Seemed

Unload the sheets of paper from the feeder. Remove any paper jams and avoid tearing or leaving torn pieces - it could cause future paper jams. Unplug and re-plug the printer into the power source to reset it. When the printer turns on, reload some paper in the feeder. Please don't overload and use the specified paper types and sizes for your model. Try to print again.
If problem continues, it could be a hardware problem. Please contact Lexmark Technical Support Center for further assistance.

I have just installed my 901 and all is well --

How did you connect your printer - wireless or via the USB cable? If wireless, check the status of the WiFi light - off, orange or green? If USB connected, make sure the cable is properly inserted and secured on the back of your printer and into the computer. A quick fix for most communication errors can be achieved by resetting the printer and/or rebooting the PC. Simply unplug and re-plug the printer into the power source and reboot your pc.

Paper jams in roller

If the paper jam is inside the printer, open the printer cover and access the paper jam. Firmly grasp the paper, and then gently pull it out. Be careful not to tear the paper while removing it.
If paper jam is in the Automatic Document Feeder (ADF), open the ADF door, and then gently pull out the jammed paper. Close the ADF door. Touch DONE. From your computer, resume the print job.
