Canon Pro 9000. Used spyder to calibrate monitor

Well your Canon has great reviews and it's a shame your is giving you problems! As soon as possible check the electrical junctions where the Ink CARTRIDGES mate to the PRINTER. Your printer has half of those connections and your Cartridges have the mating half... NOTE: Many ink cartridges DO NOT like to be unmounted until they are totally empty... but personally, I would take that chance! Use rubber gloves and a Q-Tip with a dab of alcohol. Now CLEAN ALL of the pins/connectors so they look like NEW... But don't buff too hard because you don't want to wear the thin gold plating off! Go ahead and test your printer again!... If not that ~ take it to a reputable repair center ~ Like GOOD GUYS... and their GEEK SQUAD... but NOT Frys. The "Squad" has very talented field techs... and even BETTER techs in their repair labs too (on the 'business' side of the service counter!). Major companies RESPOND better to their 'repair centers' with private phone lines, FAST repair part deliveries AND READY telephone experts who backup bench techs (who are) unable to find exotic problems! All the ink tanks are not lite up. I was in the middle of a large print and before I put the first ink tank it did not light none of the ink tanks were lite.

There are a couple of possible problems. 1 A faulty printhead 2 Faulty or empty ink cartridges 3 The contact pins in the printhead could be dirty, covered, or sitting in a pool of water/ink generating a short-circuit. Check all the cartridges have ink visible in the rear ink chamber, check the contact pins are clean and dry, make sure the chips on the cartridges are clean and dry. If all those are OK count the number of orange flashes the machine shows in a repeating sequence. 10 sequential flashes often indicates a trashed print head.

How to fix Canon pro9000 error E08 or iP2770 error 5B00

Your B500 is most likely a waste ink full message, so try this http://ekohasans.blogspot.co.nz/2011/08/how-to-reset-canon-ip2770-error-5b00.html . You need to download a service tool and reset the waste ink levels, then dissable the machine to remove clean and replace the waste ink pads. You could get away with just doing the waste ink reset but beware ink overflowing from the base of the machine. The E08 error also seems to be a waste ink and may also need a service tool to reset.

Canon pixma MarkII pro 9000 has an error 5C00 or purge error?

That is probably some paper or a foreign object inside the machine. Check around the waste station and at the far end of the printhead travel in both directions. Remove any found foreign objects and restart the printer. If there is nothing there to find - it is probable that the is a mis-alignment of the gear train that selects the various functions of cleaning, paper feed, and waste purging. In that case, there is not a lot you can do short of a complete strip down and rebuild with no guarantee of succes.

My Canon Pro9000 MarkII prints photos with a red tint

You probably haven't calibrated your monitor to show the correct colours, so in whatever photo programme you're using, you're setting the red tones too high. Test this by first not calibrating your monitor, but turning down all the red tone until it looks washed out. Print this and see if it's better. If so, set your monitor to a cooler colour temperature. If the result is no better, check your print dialogue settings to make sure you are using an appropriate colour profile. And, for example, if you're using Photoshop, tick 'let Photoshop manage colours' in the advanced profile settings box. Hope this helps. I doubt there's anything wrong with the printer.
