Finding contact information, especially a phone number, for Electrolux corporate is quite a bit more difficult than we expected. We managed to finally find an Electrolux headquarters website for the US that listed both the phone number and address for the corporate office.

• From the information you have provided, the dishwasher should work as long as there is plenty of water pressure available and the orifices where the water is spraying are not stopped up (with calcium deposits). For whatever reason, the water pressure is being restricted or the arm that spins the water to direct it to the top of the machine cabinet inside may not be working properly.

It may be sticking from soap residue, pour boiling water slowing into the dispenser and see if that clears it. Be careful

Are you pre rinsing the dishes? Do you have hard water, both can cause this residue.

Unfortunately, the model number EDW5505EDS3 doesn't seem to exist. Electrolux does have a manual for the EDW5505 in the database: http://www.electroluxappliances.com/Owner-Support/Product-Support/ . E4 Overflow Sometimes during trasport it is possible that styrofoam float mechanicaly activated overflow microswitch. So, you should check complitely overflow system. At any time, if overflow micro-switch act and keep for longer than 2 seconds, the E4 would occur. When E4 occurs, the drain pump will run until flowmeter keep motionless for 2 minutes (if the model with the pressure switch (83/63),drain pump would run till the pressure switch reset and continue draining for 60 seconds.) and all the other components will be stopped immediately. At the same time, the buzzer will alarm for 30 seconds and error 4 will be shown. Note: Priority level of E4 is the highest. E4 operation is valid after other error operations have done.
