Leaking clear water from behind the faceplate

Most likely the lid seal and/ or the detergent dispenser seal is leaky. Do not operate the dishwasher in this condition as the water can cause electrocution because the mains voltage comes up to the drawer front panel. Most likely it is the detergent dispenser seal. see this diagram. http://spares.bigwarehouse.com.au/images/files/18816_a21ebb5ac093d66472cef9bd1e8f3b12.pdf

If the cycle is complete and dishes are clean, then you need to worry. Try to pull the drain hose up a bit under the sink. Also buy a Finish dishwasher cleaning kit and run dishwasher as per instructions on the kit. That should clean any obsrtuctions in the drain side.

I have a fisher pakel double drawer dishwasher and it keeps pausing a couple of times through the cycle how do I stop this

Pausing - how long? The pause means the wash motor keeps halting as it is waiting for the water temperature to increase to the right wash selection. If the heater is sluggish then it will take longer to heat. Try a simple rinse cycle and see if there is any difference. (Rinse cycle will use cold water to complete)

I have a Fisher Paykel double drawer dishwasher.

Unfortunately the buttons are an integral part of the Control Board. If it turns on just wont change cycle it could be that the controller is not sitting in place properly, otherwise you would have to get another controller.A couple of things to try:Make sure it is dry, some can be really sensitive. The opposite, Put a bit of water on the pad or lick your finger.Touch something metal like a tap with your other hand while you try.If you want instructions on checking the controller is in place let me know.

FISHER & PAYKEL dd24 , i CHANGED THE ROTOR MOTOR BECAUSE OF THE F2 CODE AND IT WAS BURNT, BUT THE CODE STILL POPS UP AT START UP ?

Need to clean the pump sump and the drain sump to make sure there is no debris left. Most likely a bone chip or seed inside the channel connecting the two sumps. Use a thin rigid wire to clean.

I have the Fisher &

Please confirm if this quirk you mention has always been with the dishwasher or has it appeared after you replaced the controller on the upper drawer.

I am assuming this is happening with both drawers and therefore, is unlikely linked to the controller replacement. Although I am curious why you needed to replace the controller which I believe is very reliable in these double drawer models.

Coming back to the drying fan, the manual is very clear that in spite of how much the remaining time on the drying fan operation is, it will turn off once you open the drawer. Is the behaviour any different when you enable the Auto power setting?

By the way I believe the dishwasher is already on enhanced dry mode unless the ECO button is selected. See bottom of page 7 in user manual.

F&P dishwasher (DD603i) has no power to top drawer

No power to the top drawer needs to be verified.

Are you saying the lights are blank and when you press the start buttion nothing happens?

One reason the controller can shut the power is that the heater overload protection thermal resistor has opened. Unfortunately the only way to fix this is to replace the entire heater plate at the bottom of the drawer.

To confirm if the controller is operational or not, press Keylock and Start/ Pause button together for 5 sec (press Keylock first) and see if the Lights light up. If nothing happens then either the power has shutoff as mentioned above or controller is faulty.

Depending on your familiarity with such equipment you could try to replace and fix. I am not quite sure what the new model you mention is. I believe all DD603 models have power to the 2 drawers coming from the base board.

Hi, I have a Fisher

Hi

Dishwashers use Bi-Metal strip to allow the dispenser to open/close. This strip when heat up causes the soap door spring to open up the dispenser. If this strip is not heated doesn't allow the door to open. The strip may not be getting 120V or maybe disconnected. Newer (plastic liner) dishwashers use a wax motor to open the soap dispenser. The plunger inside the wax motor slowly moves and pushes the plunger and door open. And, if this wax motor doesn't receive 120 volts, then it'll not work. Please check the voltage to the wax motor/Bi-metal strip; also inspect the connections to these. Hope this helps...

First press the ON/ OFF button to see if the display lights up. Once you select the program from the panel then press the PLay/ Pause button to start the cycle. Pressing the key button will prevent accidental pressing of the ON/ OFF or the Play./ pause button when the dishwasher is running. It is a child lock button. To turn it off (if you have selected it) press Keylock button again.

Model DD603. Why wasn't flood sensor working?

F1 Flood should have triggered. There is a small, 2 post sensor located under the cover and parts assembly (to the right hand side) of the Mains board (under the plastic cover in the left, lower, rear portion of the base - under the bottom drawer - #10 & 19 in the drawing) and this should trigger with a very small amount of water in the base pan. Maybe dirty, bent or disconnected sensor?? Otherwise, likely a bad comms harness or control board. This is very unusual - never encountered it in 20 years of F&P service. I personally have two of them. One of our kids have it too. We love the F&P dishdrawers.Note: to actually get correct parts you MUST have the full model and product codes.dd603 base-pdn34o1xtufqgcwfy3cszp4q-6-2.jpg

Replace dishwasher drain hose F&P DW60

The attached assembly document might be helpful. To access the drain hose at the dishwasher end your best bet is to pull the dishwasher out from under kitchen cabinet and lay it on the floor on its side. Make sure you disconnect the mains power and the hose connections first. The hose should be accessible from the bottom of dishwasher. http://www.jordansmanuals.com/ServiceManuals/FP/Dishwasher/DW60CDW2/DW60CDW2.pdf
