Check which input is the current one. You can't access the tuner setup unless the input is set to TV. There should be a Source or Input button on your original remote. There may be a matching button on the TV. Please add a comment with the model of the TV, if you would like me to check where the Input or Source might be. (If you have a universal remote, it may or may not match this feature with the code that makes most of the TV features work.) Note: some TV models were sold without tuners or only NTSC (analog tuners) depending on their size and release date. ATSC tuners were only mandated in 2005 for 36"+ TVs in the US. For these older TVs, you may need an OTA tuner (or ATSC to NTSC converter) box. I hope this helps. Cindy Wells

Compressed air - like canned air. Don't try anything else, scratches will kill the unit.

I assume that you enabled hdmi ports within settings. I would connect box to another TV and within settings in box make sure that box outputs either 720p or 1080i. Your TV doesn't accepts 1080p .

You will need to connect a streaming media player to the Pioneer Elite Pro-111FD. This can be your computer (make sure to set the HDMI input to PC, if needed) or a Roku or Fire (either the stick format or the box). Set the TV to the correct HDMI input and then access Netflix on the media player. The Ethernet port on this TV is only for use with media saved to your local network. The TV cannot directly use the Netflix app or website. See the manual for details on the Home Media Gallery Server features of the Pro-111FD. The manual is available from Pioneer on the product page: https://www.pioneerelectronics.com/PUSA/Home/Plasma/PRO-111FD . The direct link to the manual is currently https://www.pioneerelectronics.com/StaticFiles/Manuals/Home/PRO-151FD_OperatingInstructions0905.pdf . I hope this helps. Cindy Wells

Hello, It is likely on the video board. At today's price point, it is often less expensive to replace with a more modern television that can be hung on the wall, and does not take up so much valuable floor space. Good luck with your repair.

This sounds like an internal switch from one format to the other. That should be governed by the data in the user manual.

Certainly you can have it fixed, consider if you will the high cost for replacement parts. Generally, the fix is more expensive that getting a whole new TV. The Plasma TVs are now a dinosaur and new 4K Ultra TV's are in. The cost for a less expensive Walmart TV is $300. Consider the cost involved in fixing an old TV.
