Boot into safe mode by pressing either F4 or F8 or one of the F buttons (it is different on different computers) when you power on your computer. You have to press it before your computer boots into the operating system. You should get a menu with one of the options that says "Safemode with networking" choose that one and press enter. When you boot into safemode, it loads only the essential services nessary to run your computer. It may look funny because the graphics card does not operate properly in safe mode it is ok. When windows loads, try internet explorer and go to cnet.com and click on downloads at the top of the page. Next find Malwarebytes and download and run a scan. If that doesn't find anything than try spybot search and destroy, or Adaware SE . Then after you remove ALL found threats reboot and it will boot regualy (Not Safemode this time) Wha laa!!!! If that doesn't work than it is too long of a solution to elaborate in this post.

There is a hidden admin account. Reboot the computer and tab F8 in one second intervals until you get a menu. Select "Safe Mode". You should see an account Administrator. Click on it and it should login unless someone set a password on it. If it has a password you will need to download the NT Offline password reset tool and boot into that and follow the prompts to remove the password from your account.

I would need a little more info to be certain of what advice to give, but I have experienced similar issues with text boxes not moving automatically down with the rest of the surrounding text when adding more text above the text box. Also, it could be a margin issue, or a header spacing issue. Your problem could be different though. It is likely something in your document is set to a fixed location. Is your word 2016 fully updated? Or did you turn updates off? That could be the issue if you cut and pasted something from the web or a document from work that has newer behind the scenes coding than your home version supports, or some of the data was copied from a different word processing program like libre office or openoffice...

Hi Sumanth

Try these methods are as follows:
  • Start an Office program that has not been activated.
  • Click Activate Product on the Help menu in any Office program.
  • Run the Office Activation Wizard outside an Office program.

To do this, click Start, point to Programs, point to Microsoft Office Tools, and then click Activate Product.

Note This method is not available in Microsoft Office 2003 and the 2007 Microsoft Office system.

    1. Click the Microsoft Office Button, and then click Program Name Options.
    2. Click the Resources tab, and then click Activate.
