Pioneer SPH-DA160DAB randomly frezzes and crashes into white screen.
it needs repair , take it to a shop
this is an aftermarket head end
so no car dealer will touch it.
take the head end out and get a shop that fixes them ,repair it.
all you can do is check fuses top to it.
there are 2 fuses on the rear (right rear low) 1.5amps.and 10
that can be loose or damaged. replace it. is easy fix. if true.
some fuses can crack and be intermittent,
the head maybe overheating, and the rear must not be things blocking the heat sink fins there.

you have to ground the parking brake wire, but only after the unit is powered so you can go a manual route by using a switch and turn it on manually after you power the unit, or use a relay connected to your remote (amplifier activation) wire

I assume you do not have the harness? I would suggest buying one they are available on ebay, amazon, metraonline.com plus dozens more sources. Connecting wires to the pins on the radio chassis is difficult at best and all it would take is one to touch the wrong one and fry the radio.
