Restart your system and try uninstalling.
Note: To Uninstall a program you have to completely close that program because it is being accessed by the user or by the system and cannot be cleaned fully.

The best solution would be to restart your system, restarting your system fixes any minor issues stopping your computer to perform the desired task. Please also check if you have Sonic/Roxio software installed. We have found a compatibility issue between ArcSoft and Sonic/Roxio burning engine. To resolve the problem, please first uninstall both MediaImpression and the Roxio software in Control Panel, and then reinstall the Roxio software. After that, install MediaImpression with your original installation files. Please remember to install the Roxio software first before MediaImpression is installed.

Do you own the video clip you wish to save? If copied from another source, it is probably copy coded.
