To access calibration mode, press AND HOLD the "?", "?", and "SET" buttons for at least 5 seconds. 2. Once in calibration mode, the preference you are currently setting will be highlighted on the display. 3. Press the "?" or "?" buttons to calibrate the data value higher or lower from the actual reading. 4. Press the "SET" button to confirm the calibration adjustment. The " " icon will remain illuminated next to calibrated values. 5. The next adjustable data will begin flashing, indicating it is ready to be calibrated. Repeat Steps 1 - 4 to calibrate additional data. There is no way to turn off beeping. From this site: http://www.chaneyinstruments.com/FAQ.aspx
found solution - Q: My wireless weather station periodically beeps, why?
A: Make sure that any alert and/or alarm features are deactivated first. Constant, sporadic beeping is generally due to the unit's ability to detect a foreign radio frequency of another wireless unit when that unit transmits a signal. Wireless devices that may cause beeping but are not limited to these devices are; scanners; computers w/wireless keyboard/mouse; or other wireless weather instruments. Essentially, any wireless devices transmitting on a radio frequency have the potential to interfere with each other. Limit the amount of wireless devices to lesson the chance of interference. When beeping occurs, one device will need to be deactivated.

There is no way to turn off beeping, d/s designers forgot. I had the same problem, another external temp gauge showed up on the other channel, so my neighbor or someone is using the similar unit. MY SOLUTION: opened back of case and cut black wire to piezo speaker (at base if rear cover opposite side of stand-up prop) that creates beep. Don't use any sound features, ALL good now.

My outside display stopped working, but the inside display still worked. I found that one of the two batteries in the inside unit was almost all the way dead. Once I replaced both batteries the outside display worked. I also checked the batteries in the outside unit. After all batteries were installed, I pushed the small button that is inside the battery compartment on the outdoor unit. It's now working perfect..

Try taking the inside unit outside as close to the transmitting unit as possible for three minutes. The signal might lock on to the setting you want to receive.

Hi Jerry, While lithium batteries are recommended for the outdoor sensor it is not recommended they be used in the indoor display unit. Try using a good quality, fresh alkaline batteries and you should find your display turns back on.
