What kind of lube oil can I use on my spa zipper? And how much are the new filters? And the best place to by them?

the only type of lube to use on anything that might get wet is waterproof grease , this is most common found in plumbing isle at hardware isle as its used in faucets , use it sparingly as only enough to get into zipper , the best type of filters are the cleanable nylon type , these can be cleaned over 50 times with a mild detergent (hand soap) and why costing a bit more than disposable type , they end up saving money in the long run (including the cost of soap)

Shuts down when I push heater button and will not heat up. I cannot find a heater element.

These Toy style spas do not have individual replacement parts for their major components, available or easily attainable by the consumer! It appears that when they fail so early and prematurely, they want you to buy a new pump, or heater, or control center, etc. I would squeak and squeak to them until that squeak is oiled! Especially if fairly new. But I wouldn't hold my breath. Good luck. look here... http://www.intexcorp.com/support

Will not heat. Everytime I push heat control, it shuts off and the test button is not working. How do I take apart to check for the problem.

This is such a common problem.... I see it so often, customers come into my store looking for replacement 'Parts' for components, where there are NONE. Mainly Pumps, but closely now followed by Heaters, since they started to mass produce spas out of China. Consumers purchase these Toy spas online, in big box stores like Target, or any of the "X-Mart" (you fill in the X) type of stores and hope they can enjoy, which they should and 'Do', but for only a short time in most cases! This is unfortunate! For everyone all around! Please, don't get me wrong - I am not trying to be facetious here... But in this case, especially with products like this... The old adage can not be more spot on, 'you get what you pay for'. So Sorry! What I have suggested to many people, some were successful at receiving satisfaction and others, sadly no. But I suggest - SQUEAK!!!! The squeaking Wheel, gets oiled? In most cases. http://www.intexcorp.com/support Maybe you get a replacement, and maybe get a discount on a replacement part, or maybe they say nothing? If I ever get my hands on one of these failed units, I would tear into it, and try to come up with a work around repair that would modify this unit to be repairable! Vs. customers only option with Intex, is to purchase a new Power Center. Such a sad state : ( and then I would share with others. Good Luck to you, I hope you are in Hot Water, soon .

How to deflate and store

DRAINING THE SPA: 1. Unplug power pack from electrical receptacle before draining spa. 2. Put the rubber plug into the outlet in the inner wall of the spa. 3. Open the outlet in the outer wall of the spa. Screw one end of inflation hose into it. 4. Remove the rubber plug from the outlet in the inner wall of the spa. This will allow water to flow out of the spa. 5.When water is completely drained, press BUBBLE and run for 2-3 minutes to drain the water in the air pipeline. 6.When drainage is finished, remove the inflation hose and replace cap on outside of spa. Store rubber plug for future use. SPA STORAGE Make sure all water is drained from the spa and control box. This is essential to extend the life of the spa.We recommend the use of a wet/dry vacuum to blow out or suck up water from the spa pipes and pump lines. Remove the filter cartridge. It is recommended you store the spa in its original package in a warm, dry place. Note: Plastic becomes brittle and susceptible to breakage when exposed to subzero temperatures. Freezing can severely damage the spa. Improper winterization of your spa may void your warranty. http://img1.wfrcdn.com/docresources/17478/11/119999.pdf

How to change a heating element in therapure spa?

I don't think you have a heater element? It might be heating by kinetic energy/heat exchanger/heat transfer by the operation of the pump motor?

My inflatable therapure jacuzzi tub has a leak on a seam. How do I fix it?

Seam leaks are most difficult to fix on amy inflatable product. However, if yo can find an AC man or an AC supply store that will sell to you they have a tape that is foil on one side and a thick gummy material on the other once in place it is impossible to remove. My brother called it "Hard Cast" but it is not, hard cast is a two part process that will not work for you. This tape has a paper that you must peal off before you apply it. 31644dba-35b4-49c2-9610-b86152d92ddc.jpeg Drain the tub, let it dry, no moisture or dirt or soap residue. Let all the air out of the tub. Then apply enough tape to cover the tare by 2" on all sides. Also trip the tape so that there are no sharp edges. This will not only feel more comfortable but make it harder to peal away. Make sure the tape goes on smoothly and with no wrinkles in the vinyl or the tape. You will only get one shot at this.

Every time I put the bubbles on it trip?? Can anyone help?

the air blower (bubbler) has water in it? This will cause it to trip, or it may just be shorting to ground without water in it, this too is common and will cause a trip.

Wont heat up

other than the heater having a fault inside of it (common problem) the only thing that a user can do is to make sure it was proper power connection (outlet is live) and make sure it has good flow thru the heater , as they do have a flow switch that prevents heater from coming on if water flow isn't enough(safety sensor)

What chemicals to use

you should use Bromain to keep it stable and a water clarifyer as needed, stay away from those "aroma therapy" things, they cloud the water and change the PH/Alkalinity. After you fill the tub you can take a sample to any pool supply store and they will test it for you.

fastest way is use a wet/dry shop vac , just place the tip of hose over inflation valve and it will draw air from walls (fast!!) careful if using a home vac system , as some water might be inside walls and home vacs don't like that too much , wet/dry shop vacs are best 4 this
