You could try cleaning the battery cable connections and make sure cable connections to be sure they are tight. If the battery isn't a sealed type, you could check the liquid level in each cell. If it isn't running, you could remove the battery, and they can check it. Some parts stores can also check the alternator without it being installed in the vehicle. If testing indicates a problem with the battery, alternator, or alternator drive belt, after replacing the failed part, it would be good to take the vehicle to the parts store to get them to check the entire system for proper operation. Testing the system could help avoid future problems.
