There is 2 or three power cords coming from the stereo.. One of them (the blue one) is for the memory and has to be hooked into a constant power sourse.. Not something that will not work when the key is turned off..

What code? There should be no code for that radio.

those are rca jacks used for running an amplifier from the deck.

This link is for a pdf file, different model number but I think you'll find wiring is probably the same.

The only CLARION code available for free (using a serial number ) from anywhere on the Internet is if your radio also  has a BARCODE SERIAL NUMBER beginning with C7000000 + + + +  on a label somewhere on the metal casing.


(There are usually two barcodes on one label. The one required is the lower one )
 
If not then it will only be available from  your Main Dealer or a Decoding Service or your local Car Radio / Audio Store who will connect a laptop to read/recode the memory chip (EEPROM)

the front should be white and gray and the rear should be green and purple

There are usually two options 

1...See if you can tease the jammed CD out through the slot using another (old) CD

If not

2...The player will have to removed from the dashboard and opened up to remove the jammed CD.

Make sure you have the Security Code before removing the player.

First make sure that the code has not been noted somewhere within the car (underneath the ash tray, glove box , rear of sun visor etc)
 
 
To see if your code is available here  for free then the radio will have to be removed from the dashboard (and if you are lucky, someone may have written the code on the casing ) .

If not then try your Main Dealer ...........or take it into a Decode Service who will plug in a laptop to read/recode the memory chip (EEPROM). This takes a few minutes and shouldn`t be too expensive
 

A CD input is not the method used as the code is manually inputted into the radio using the push buttons on the front.(The method / instructions are below )

Clarion PU2294 Code Entry Instructions

After switching on the set the display show ' CODE IN '

Enter the code using station preset keys 1 - 6

Upon last entry the set will operate. 

THe red wire is to be connected to power from the ignition.Meaning this wire should only be hot, when the ignition is on..

this proble is usually caused by the tel mute cable getting trapped as you push the radio in to the dash, pull the radio out of the dash and see if you can see if any cables have gotten caught in the cage

sounds like a short in your wiring to your speakers the best thing to do to check this is run a speaker wire directly to the speaker from the stereo check it that way and see if it works.If that don't work it's the wires on the stereo connection.The speaker wires on most aftermarket stereos are mostly colored 2 of each green,purple,white & grey.

remve face of unit (if applicable) insert pins into head unit and push outwards, the whole head unit should slide out from the cradle. Simply unplug aerial and plug. (Hope it's that easy) removal pins can be fiddly....

check your setting on the itrip unit to make sure it is set for frequency

There is an internal fuse on the radio and an external one on fuse box, check both. Check if there is power coming to radio wirings.
