AFTER REPLACEING CAR BATTERY...MY STEREO ADDZEST..WONT WORK...AS IN DEAD
When you disconnect your battery and then reconnect itagain, it disables the radio. This is an anti-theft protection for your carradio. The enable your radio the activation code is in your vehicle owner's manual. Clarion ADX 5355 Addzest, fm freq won't go past 90, clock reset
This is a unit for the japanese market and they only use bands 79 to 90. You can install an FM band expander, available on Ebay for about £5, and get loads more stations. The expander is easy to fit if you can get to the back of the radio, it fits in the aerial lead and needs a 12 volt connection. Some people reckon they work well others don't rate them, probably worth a try at the price they are.
ADX5355 clock
you just have to turn the power on, push the display button so the time is showing on the display. (The only buttons involved are the "BAND" button, the number 4 roulette button which is the top right station preset button and the "DISPLAY" button.) I think you push and hold the BAND button and while holding it push the number 4 roulette button. (you don't have to hold it for any specific time you just have to push BAND in when you push the number 4 roulette button.) the time will flash and you use the vol/seek knob to adjust the time. When done push the BAND button again.
=> This really work, thanks!

DOES CLARION BD357MP HAVE BLUETOOHT INTEGRATED
No, the Clarion BD357MP car stereo receiver does not have Bluetooth integrated. The receiver was released in 2007, and Bluetooth integration in car stereo systems was not as common at that time as it is now.
However, you may be able to use a Bluetooth adapter to connect your phone or other Bluetooth-enabled device to the stereo. Some aftermarket Bluetooth adapters can be plugged into the auxiliary input of the stereo or connected via an FM transmitter to add Bluetooth functionality. Check the compatibility of any adapter with your Clarion BD357MP receiver before purchasing to ensure it will work properly.
Clarion db185 mp no sound
If your Clarion DB185 MP head unit is not producing any sound, here are some steps you can try to troubleshoot the issue:
- Check the wiring: Make sure that all the wiring is properly connected and there are no loose connections. Check if the speaker wires are connected to the correct terminals on the head unit and the speakers.
- Check the fuses: Make sure that the fuses are not blown. Check the fuse box in your car and make sure that the fuse for the head unit is intact.
- Check the volume: Make sure that the volume is turned up and not muted. Check if the "MUTE" function is activated.
- Check the balance and fade settings: Make sure that the balance and fade settings are set correctly. If the sound is only coming from one speaker, it could be because the balance is off.
- Check the sound settings: Make sure that the sound settings are not set to "FLAT" or "OFF". Adjust the equalizer settings to see if it improves the sound.
If none of these steps work, then the problem could be with the head unit itself. You may need to take it to a professional to have it checked and repaired.
