How do you set an atomic clock

You're not supposed to set the time -- it's supposed to synchronize with the US atomic clock broadcast automatically. Perhaps putting it in a different area of the house, or turning it to a different orientation will help it make the initial connection. If it still won't, here are instructions from one of the LaCrosse models... use them or go to http://www.lacrossetechnology.com/clocks/atomic-digital/wall/ and find your particular clock, then download the instructions. ------------ MANUAL TIME SETTING In case the atomic clock is not able to detect the WWVB-signal (disturbances, transmitting distance, etc.), the time can be manually set. The clock will then work as a normal Quartz clock. Note: In 12 hours mode the time will be displayed with an additional "PM" for the time from 12:00 noon until 11:59. 1. The hour digits will start flashing on LCD1. 2. Set the desired hours by pressing and releasing the + key followed by pressing the SET key. 3. Now the minute digits will start flashing. 4. Set the desired minutes by pressing and releasing the + key . If the + key is held, the units will increase by 5. 5. Press and release the SET key to move to the "Year Setting". Note: The unit will still try and receive the signal every day despite it being manually set. When it does receive the signal, it will change the manually set time into the received time. During reception attempts the WWVB tower icon will flash. If reception has been unsuccessful, then the WWVB tower icon will not appear but reception will still be attempted the next hour. WWVB reception occurs daily at 12:00 am and 06:00 am. If the reception is not successful at 12:00 am, then the next reception takes place the next hour and so on until 06:00am, or until the reception is successful. If the reception is not successful at 06:00 am, then the next attempt will take place the next day at 12:00 am. The other times WWVB reception takes place are upon setup and after manual time set exiting mode. Reception is generally not possible during daylight hours due to the interference of the sun. ------------

My outdoor temp is slowing almost 10 degrees warmer than actual temp outside. What is problem.

You are using a wireless system that transmits signals between the outdoor sensor and the indoor receiver. They are not a perfect match. You cannot make adjustments, thus if your lucky, the factory matched up the devices prior to the sale. You may contact Lacrosse for a replacement outdoor temperature device.

LA Crosse manual for weather station 308-1414

Most LaCrosse weather station manuals are available here: http://www.meade.com/support/manuals/ or on the product page (see the Support tab). Using the search feature on the support page, I found three models which start 308-1414. Two of these differ in the color of the case of the weather station. Hover over the picture of any of these weather stations and click on the More button to go to their product page. The direct link to the manual for the 308-1414MB is http://www.lacrossetechnology.com/media/catalog/product/3/0/308-1414m.pdf . This product page is http://www.lacrossetechnology.com/308-1414mb-weather-station/ . The manual for the 308-1414W/308-1414B is http://www.lacrossetechnology.com/media/catalog/product/3/0/308-1414.pdf . The product page for the 308-1414W is http://www.lacrossetechnology.com/308-1414w-weather-station/ . I hope this helps. Cindy Wells

What does OF.L mean in display?

It means OverFLow - the display unit can read from -39.8°F to 139.8 °F and it is getting a signal from the sending unit that is lower than -39.8 or higher than 139.8. This happens when the sending unit goes haywire (or, not likely, when temperature out doors is REALLY lower or higher than the range). Replace the sending unit. If you really like the product, I suggest you buy another of the same model. It will come with a new sending unit and that will be read by both of the displays if they are within 80 ft of the sending unit. Good luck.
