Why does my card say card protection how do i get

Look at your memory card. SD cards have a slide switch along one edge. The position farthest from the contacts locks the card, protecting it from writes. The position nearest the contacts unlocks the card.

My son cleared the sd card for my dimage e323

Formatting it in the camera is the only way to get it to work. Try it again and be sure the slide switch on the side of the card is in the unlocked position.

Instead of clicking yes at the first prompt, go into the menu and find "format" and follow the instructions from there.

Dimage E323 "system error"

remove 6 phillipscews open camera.There is a little drivemotor for the lens,next to it is a shaft activating the limit switch for lens opening and closing.Carefully spray plastic safe electronic cleaner into the opening.Now apply 3 volt to the motor reversing polarity a few times to activate the limits. Now use canned air to blow out any residue of the cleaner.This worked for me,camera working again.

Yes. This camera has 3x optical zoom and 4x digital zoom. However digital zoom cannot be used in 2880 x 2160 size. Optical zoom: It is approximately 5.6 - 16.8 mm. (equivalent to 38 - 108 mm on 35mm film camera) Digital zoom: It extends to 4x from telephoto end (108mm) of optical zoom.

Can images recorded by another digital camera be played on this camera?

It is possible if they support the Exif data (image data) based on DCF. However, they may not be played back, or played back as thumbnails depending on the file format, image size or data configuration in a file. Also, the audio files attached with images cannot be played on this camera. DCF = abbreviated expressions of a standard for aim at the compatibility in files between the related devices such as digital cameras. Please refer to the instruction manual of your camera (main specification - image file format) to confirm if the camera is compliant to DCF or not.

When I can not see LCD screen when sun shines on it I use viewfinder , I think it tells you in the user Instruction manual if sun is so bright you can not see LCD use viewfinder .
