Get voltage surge error message when plugged into

The main problem some people find with the kt7 series of mobo's is the default cpu voltage being too low. The best way of fixing for most people is to up the cpu core voltage to say 1.8. Assuming you don't know the in's and out's of the bios itself it is found in the softmenu part of the bios. So the problem here is not with your camera its with your motherboard temperature settings.

When i switch the camera on it switches off by it

Your problem may be due to corrosion on the battery contacts inside the camera which can prevent the full power of the batteries from flowing into the camera. Try this free fix before you do anything else: remove the batteries and wipe the camera contacts firmly with a dry cloth (heavy corrosion may require cleaning with a wire brush, steel wool, or sandpaper). Remove any residue that may have fallen into the battery compartment during cleaning, then wipe both ends of the batteries and place them back in the camera. This cleaning clears the problem about 90% of the time. If it doesn't work for you, the camera may require professional repair.

Do you own any other cards? its would be worth the 5 bucks it cost for a really small card.
I cant remember can you take pictures without the card?
im sure not, seems how you just stated you used the card that came with it and they normally either stor internally or come with one of this little ones.

Printer Problem - Konica Minolta 7450

If the print is a dismal gray rather than a sharp black, you are probably almost out of toner. This can manifest itself evenly across the entire page or in splotches or stripes, depending on the printer.
Sometimes you can wring a little bit more out of a toner cartridge by taking it out and gently shaking it from side to side (never up and down, as toner can spill out). You can also try turning up the printer’s contrast adjustment, if it has such a knob (usually on the back side if it exists). Faded print can also result from a dirty corona wire, because a dirty wire inhibits a full electrical charge from being passed.
If the printouts are consistently varied in density, and you have to frequently remove the toner cartridge and shake it to redistribute the toner inside it, make sure the printer is sitting on an even, flat surface.
Horizontal lines
A horizontal line on the printout is probably the result of a dirty or damaged roller. There are lots of rollers in the printer, and you can use the space between the lines on the page to determine which roller is causing the problem. Measure the distance between the errant lines on the page and then use Table A to determine which part might be causing the problem. Table A
Distance between lines
Faulty part
0.5”
Registration assembly
1.5”
Upper registration roller
1.75”
Lower registration roller
2.0”
Toner cartridge developer roller
2.56”
Lower fusing assembly roller
3.16”
Upper fusing assembly roller
3.75”
Toner cartridge photo drum
Regularly spaced splotches
If there are evenly spaced black spots but they don’t extend all the way across the page, the problem is probably a scratch or flaw in the drum or a build-up of toner on the fusing roller. If the spots are less than three inches apart vertically, it’s probably the drum, because the drum has a larger diameter than the fusing roller.
Vertical line on edge of page
This can indicate an almost empty or faulty toner cartridge or (less frequently) some spilled toner inside the printer.

Memory card

Its an sd card right?
because if its a bigger square Compact Flash Card you could a bent pin.
I wouldnt buy another car if you have a new one and they both give the same error.
I would suggest takeing it to a repair person if there is one near where you live. I would have to see the camera myself to be able to know for sure what was wrong.
But If you can afford to then I would really suggest getting a new one before your next trip. As even if My quick fix worked or if it started working again It could start failing again in the middle of the trip.

Have you tried formatting the card?

KM DiMAGE Z5

Try using a different Memory Card.
Then try takeing the batteries out overnight to let the camera reset.
Otherwise I dont have good news options. Sounds like It would be something internal that wouldnt be cost affective to fix.

Hope its the Memory Card,
Caleb

Konica Minolta DiMAGE Z10 Battery Leak

It sounds like a short in the circuit board. Not worth getting fixed unless you find a local person. but first try puting a set of lithium batteries in. sometimes those last forever even when other batteries last less than 10 shots.
other wise try takeing the batteries out whenever you are done and see how long they last that way. then you will know if it is a short if they last a long time.

Hope That Helps,
Caleb
