The
GE GXRLQR is the correct *replacement* filter for the following "Smartwater" single stage filtration and exterior refrigerator icemaker systems:
- GE GXRLQ
- GE GX1S50F
- GE GQ1S50F
This filter is rated for only 750 gallons / 6 months of use (typical fridge with ice maker & water service). Most home faucets will deliver about 6 gallons / minute which roughly translates to about 2 hours of running water. The
GE FQSLF works with the following for the following Dual Stage Under Sink filtration systems:
Because there are 2 filters, they will last nearly 2x as long as the
GE GXRLQR. and would likely be better suited to serving a faucet which will pass much more water than a fridge ice maker & chilled water dispenser would. The real question is: Which GE filtration
SYSTEM (
not filters) do you have?
